Old Rectory House, Redditch

We booked our wedding here for May 2025 and the place was perfect. Ellie was always on hand since we viewed the place until the wedding day and ensured the day ran smoothly. She and the whole team were absolutely amazing. Greg and the team behind the bar on the night were really helpful and sorted out any issues or requests we had. Jackie and the catering team in the morning couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. The site is stunning with the old grade 2 listed building making a beautiful backdrop to the rest of the grounds. It was such a happy occasion and the team did an amazing job at keeping it stress free. Thank you Ellie and the Old Rectory team for making the day so special.

When we got there the place was desserted after half hour we finally got email with code to get in. The room looked very nice small it ok until we looked at the bed it was smaller than a double bigger than a single myself and hubby are not small and my hubby is 6'6 we barely fit on bed he was in army can sleep anywhere i had 2 nights of barely any sleep due to lack of space. The tea/coffee making facilities had 2 teabags 2 coffee 2 milk 2 sugar when we texted hotel (as there was no staff whole time we was there and we was only guests) they said that was supplied and would be replaced next day there was no where near enough we had to go out and buy milk sugar and teabags. The next day nothing was replenished. It was very surreal to stay in hotel with no staff at all. Wasn't a good experience it wasn't clearly marked on booking about bed

Cosy character! Lovely little room in a hotel with lots of character, and very convenient access. Everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

old listed historical building, Brilliantly interior design. outside wedding and events area is picturesque and beautiful. just off main road so still feel safe as its not in the middle of nowhere. we had a lovely stay in the Jasmine room, which has a boiler inside the room making it lovely and cosy! with a lovely sash window letting the sunshine in the morning. bathroom standard and clean. bed was a sturdy hard mattress. clean sheets and well kept room. thank you Lisa we will be back to stay in your property the next time we are visiting. all the best. Where do we start... The entire team at The Old Rectory House are fantastic and really went above and beyond to help give us a Wedding Day we would never forget! Our ceremony didn't actually take place at the venue however we booked exclusive access for our Wedding Breakfast and Evening Party, at an extra cost we also booked access to x9 Bedrooms for guests wishing to stay. We decided to have our Wedding on 23rd December 2024, which as you can imagine is extremely stressful being so close to Christmas! But we were put at ease throughout the whole process and cannot thank Ellie enough for all of her support! Ellie was always available to speak to and always responded to emails professionally and promptly. She really was amazing in helping us plan our Wedding and timeline of our day, she even managed to get a Guinness Surger Tap installed in time to meet our requirements! She really did go above and beyond! Thank You so much Ellie! When we arrived on the day of our wedding, both Ellie and Lisa were in control of everything and made our guests feel welcome, we didn't feel nervous or worried about anything, you could sense their experience and expertise were on show and they really made the effort to make sure the day went to plan. On the evening was a change of Manager and unfortunately I cannot recall his name but again he was fantastic with ourselves and all of the guests! We would also like to thank all of the other staff at The Old Rectory House who were incredible throughout the event and also deserve an immense amount of praise. The food in particular was a major highlight, the portion sizes were fantastic and the taste of the food was beautiful! A real pat on the back for the Catering Team! Once again thank you to everyone involved and we can honestly say we would highly recommend anyone looking to booking The Old Rectory House as a Wedding Venue you will not be left disappointed! They gave us a day to never forget full of incredible memories!

Lucky enough to attend a wedding for a good friend. Main function space for service, wedding breakfast and evening was very versatile. Serving staff friendly and helpful. Wedding breakfast very enjoyable as was evening buffet. Outdoor facilities good too. Looks like a nice place to stay for non-functions too. Thank you for looking after us.
