Location, location, location! It's conveniently close to the beach and shopping. The staff were so helpful and accommodating! This year I was disappointed by the smell of 'athletes feet' coming from the carpet. I left the balcony door slightly open, which helped alot. They no longer have a hot breakfast and the processed, prepackaged carb choices influenced me to eat out. Not sure if I'll choose Breakers on my next visit.

Great hotel walking distance to stores, bars and restaurants. And the beach! It was much quieter then I expected and clean. Nice staff. Descent breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was there for a friends 50th birthday and many of us stayed there. The rooms have a small balcony. One problem was that the wifi went out so it was difficult to do work, but other than that, no complaints. Would definitely stay again!

Rooms were large and clean However wifi is very weak, pool is much smaller than advertised in photos, there is one elevator and it is VERY slow and the “continental breakfast is sparse all pre packaged food Nothing remotely healthy Staff was polite and responsive but house keeping will only come if you request prior to 1 pm

UNINHABITABLE. Dirty room, urine smelling bed, bugs. I had a reservation for the nights of May 22, 23 2025. After check-in I proceeded to move my belongings into the room. Upon entering the room, it had an odor of urine and the floors were very dirty. I cleaned the floors with Lysol wipes and sprayed the room with Lysol. I proceeded to advise the front desk clerk (at about 4:30 PM on May 22) about the uncleanliness of the room. I took one of the Lysol wipes to show her. She was very pleasant and explained that the hotel doesn’t currently have any housekeeping employees but she would discuss the issue with the hotel manager to see if there was anything that could be done. I never heard from the hotel manager. The urine smell was bad, but I continued to spray the Lysol. I stayed the night, and determined after getting into the bed that the urine smell was from the mattress. When I woke up in the morning my spouse had bug bites. I lifted up the sheets and discovered what appeared to be bug carcasses or bug feces. The hotel room was uninhabitable. I packed up my vehicle then proceeded to the front desk to advise the clerk that I was checking out due to the room being uninhabitable. At approximately 10:35 on May 23, I was met with a very rude and unprofessional woman at the front desk. I explained the issues with the room. She said sarcastically, what do you expect to be done. I said I want the night that I am not staying to be refunded. She bluntly said, we don’t give refunds. She said make a claim with your credit card company. The clerk never went to inspect the room and didn’t even look at the photos that I have. It’s obvious that the hotel manager is not doing her job and whoever was working the front desk at 10:35 on May 23 needs some lessons in customer service. If you encounter the same problem, file a dispute with your credit card, file a complaint with BBB, and file with DE Attorney General Office so this place is investigated for unhealthy conditions.
