Brit Hotel Reims Croix Blandin

Literally every room outside of Reims was booked and I needed a place to stop off for the night. Staff was sparse but they were very nice. I was there during a heatwave and the room was set too warm. Turns out it has to be adjusted by the front desk, not you, but they did lower it when I asked. The WIFI worked well even though they never gave me the code at check in. There is no fridge, no in room coffee pot (even instant) and no door on the shower. Parking was ample and the neighborhood had nothing but was safe and right off the motorway. I saw reviews that made it look like a dump and it's not. They do the job.

We stayed here for one night on our journey back from Italy on a Shearings holiday. Reception closed at 8pm and no staff were on site overnight. The restaurant doesn’t open weekends so we had to go exploring for food. We found a McDonald’s nearby, although the journey was unnecessarily circuitous due to thoughtless road layout. The room was small but adequate. However, the aircon was feeble and couldn’t be set lower than 18 degrees. There was a TV but it only had French channels. The beds were comfortable although mine was creaky, hadn’t been properly made and the extremely puffy pillows offered no support. The toilet was, weirdly and unhygienically, in a different little room from the washbasin and shower which together form a separate wetroom. The shower was dirty and a bit broken but worked well enough. Breakfast was pitiful. The lone member of staff present at the breakfast buffet wasn’t really monitoring the food levels, so things ran out without being replenished until she was asked. The tea bags were terrible. I used two in one cup and still couldn’t squeeze any tea out of them. All in all, this is a very cheap hotel offering the bare minimum. It might serve a desperate business traveller on a budget for one night but it is wholly unsuitable for holidaymakers.

bien pour une nuit hotel bien situé proche des accès autoroutes, et du centre de reims grand parking gratuit accueil sympa chambre grande mais déco minimaliste petit salle de bain, mais confortable grand lit, tele LCD mais petite bonne propreté, lit ferme

Satisfait Très satisfait. Dommage que la climatisation était bloquée sur 22... ĵ'ai dormi la fenêtre ouverte
