In the off-season, there are few people~
The fisherman's hut is definitely not as comfortable as a hotel
But the view is really nice!

Reine is a very beautiful town. This hotel is located in the core of the town. You can see very beautiful mountain and sea views when you go out. The room is a turf wooden house with a large area, including a living room, a living room, a dining table, a kitchen, a bathroom, and an attic, but the decoration is a traditional local simple wooden house. The wood outside is rotten and there aren't many parking spaces. It's far away from the reception and basically no one can be found to serve.

Great in every way! Even with the heavy snow, the roads could not be cleared and no one was carrying luggage. The service in European hotels is so poor that you basically have to rely on yourself.

Very expensive for what is provided and we are used to staying in high end accommodation. Though it is a unique offering, and Reine is a beautiful spot, after looking around we found you don’t have to pay NOK 6000 per night for a one bedroom “superior sea view” which is neither superior and has perhaps a sea glimpse at best, no servicing of rooms, no breakfast. We looked nearby and Mays apartments look cleaner, prettier, better positioned and cheaper. In short don’t stay here unless you get a very good deal.

Excellent. Views are incredible - right out of our dining area window. Comfortable bed, lots of space in the central area. For a rustic setting, the rooms are quite good. Good blackout curtains (midnight sun time for us). Little Circle K store short walk, bigger Coop store across the water. Very good coffeeshop and good lunch restaurant - again very short walk away. Staff was quite helpful. Part of the reason why we came back to Reine from years ago - just left a very good feeling all around.

I stayed there from 29 May 2025 to 1 June 2025. This was the best accommodation I stayed in Norway. But there was someone wash towels and occupied fully the cloth rack. Thus, we unable to hang our own clothes during stay. Other than this, everything is fine.

Reine Rorbuer is located in one of the major tourist towns in Lofoten. What does this mean? It means you have to sacrifice views for accessibility and you feel that you are staying in a tourist town. If you're looking for serenity, don't stay in Reine. Views: We booked a waterfront cabin, but were disappointed to see so many boats parked in the dock and near the cabins. Food- we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and it was delicious. Service- No daily cleaning. No porter for bags. And no wood included for their wood burning stove. Furnishing - very basic and rather old/dated.

Cabins by the water of reconditioned fishermen’s huts are your accommodation in paradise. Best accessed by car, most people come for the hiking and kayaking. Comfortable beds with thick quilts were not required during our stay, but neat little bathrooms with showers and ours had a kitchenette. The hotel had a pretty good restaurant although pricy. The bistro in the square was great and we went three times. Lofoten is one of the most gorgeous places ever. If you can stay in Reine at this Rorbuer.
