Receptionist, Lisa, was very pleasant and helpful!
Hotel was comfortable. The only downside was finding the entrance to the hotel from the motorway.its not very well signposted.

Another amazing stay with Travelodge this time at Markham Moor. Staff were lovely quiet location always clean and comfortable. Ideal location for me only 5 mins drive to get to theatre.

As I was admitted to hospital, we were unable to use our booking, so cannot comment on the location, cleanliness, service or facilities.
Had we been provided with a working telephone number for the hotel, we would have done the courtesy of letting them know.
I suppose I could have made up a glowing review, to earn the 50 Trip coin bonus.
Is offering a reward for a review a bribe?

Our baby was sick during a long journey and we needed to find somewhere to stay the night ASAP. This Travelodge saved us. We checked into a family room and were delighted with what we found. Everything was clean and well presented, the beds had ample space and were comfy, the room was quiet too. Bonus: the sockets were high on the walls so our daughter could crawl around and play to her heart’s content so we didn’t have to worry. Naomi and Karen were especially helpful receptionists and pointed us in the direction of the nearest hospital if our child needed further medical attention. If you are in dire straits on the A1 and need a short notice stay, look no further. This Travelodge is a gem! Oh and they sell breakfast boxes too. 10/10.

We stayed last night for 1 night on our way home from our wedding. The room was what we needed, cool after a hot day and comfortable. The decor was slightly tired, dirty grout in the bathroom, splash marks in the bedroom on the walls but nothing disgusting. We slept well and set up for the rest of the journey home however when we left we was followed out by a member of staff, older lady, who asked if the fan we had with us was in fact ours of if we had taken it from the room. It was our fan we had taken due to the heat but being followed out and accused of taking the fan was quite an unusual experience and not something we appreciated on our way home from our wedding with our young son

Stayed one night at Travelodge Retford Markham Moor. Checked in by Lisa H who made me feel very welcome. Room was exceptionally clean and surprisingly cool despite it being a warm muggy summers evening. Fantastic sleep and I will definitely return.
