Drei Birken

We were absolutely delighted with our 3 night stay at this hotel during our 10-day tour of Northern Italy. Everywhere we stayed was nice and we were happy with our choices—but this hotel truly stood out and became a real highlight of the trip. From the outside, it reflects the traditional architecture of the area, and once inside, the hotel seamlessly blends that tradition with a fresh, modern design. Our room was fabulous—spacious, stylish, and ideal for relaxing after a day out exploring. The bedroom also had a balcony that didn’t cram in two chairs, but offered real space and a stunning view overlooking the mountains—a perfect spot to unwind. The bathroom felt spacious , with a fabulous walk-in shower that added a sense of indulgence. The hotel also features a shared living room for guests, beautifully set out and so inviting. We especially loved the huge flat-screen TV, the beautiful modern log fire, a thoughtfully curated collection of books for every taste and age, different games on each table and even an electronic darts game. It was a lovely communal space to relax in. One of the most heartwarming aspects of this hotel is that it’s run by three generations of the same family. It’s so nice to see them looking after each other and working together. The oldest member of the family made time to say hello and try talk with us (our Italian needs improving) but we managed. He was taking leftovers for the chickens and keeps bees—their honey is served on the breakfast buffet and it’s delicious. The hospitality was second to none. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, and yes—our motorbike went in the garage! A great bonus for riders. We also appreciated the passes they provided for the train, bus, and cable car to Bolzano—so helpful and thoughtful. A planned itinerary for a ride through the Dolomites made for one of the best days of our trip. And the food—absolutely excellent. Home-made, traditional dishes were served with a professional and friendly touch and a local Dolomite gin for aperitif—a perfect introduction to the flavors of the region. We feel incredibly lucky to have discovered this gem. It far surpassed our expectations and left us with such wonderful memories. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti insieme alla nostra cagnolina. Stanza nuovissima, accogliente, balcone con tavolino in cui ho potuto scrivere e pensare guardando le montagne. Ma ciò che ci ha stupiti, è stata la gentilezza, le attenzioni, la cura verso gli ospiti. Il nonno che è venuto a chiedere come fosse andata la cena, i suggerimenti fin dal check in per le passeggiate e la possibilità di portare con noi al tavolo il cane. E, non ce l'aspettavamo, gli auguri di compleanno e il regalino preparato sul tavolo della colazione, dato che il pernotto coincideva con una ricorrenza speciale. Consigliato, la famiglia Prast si merita davvero tante soddisfazioni! Sicuramente torneremo. Linda, Andrea e Alice.

Durch Zufall sind wir während einer Wanderung im Drei Birken gelandet und hatten ein wirklich fantastisches Mittagessen mit sehr freundlichen Service. Wir waren wirklich begeistert!!! Die Preise sind zivil. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Bellissima esperienza per questa prima volta presso l'hotel Drei Birken . Cucina a dir poco eccezionale, da ristorante super stellato, con varietà e con materie prime ottime. Ottima colazione dal dolce al salato alla frutta freschissima. Camera con bagno top, recentemente ristrutturate e con bella vista. Pulizia e consigli turistici perfetti. Parcheggio davanti all'hotel. Complimenti a tutti

Hotel consigliato. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Camere molto pulite e confortevoli. Qualità del cibo ottima. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. Vista dalla camera bellissima. Nelle immediate vicinanze il trenino del Renon e il lago di Costalovara

Abbiamo soggiornato la prima settimana di luglio. L'Hotel è gestito dalla famiglia Prast in maniera eccellente. Abbiamo alloggiato in una camera tripla ampia e spaziosa dotata di tutti i comfort, bagno super e pulizia eccellente! Anche la cucina è degna di nota. Colazione varia e abbondante, così come la cena, diversa ogni sera e davvero gustosa. L'Hotel si trova in posizione strategica, vicinissimo alla fermata del trenino del Renon e agli altri mezzi pubblici.
