Villa Miravalle

Beautiful old fashioned hotel that had everything we (married couple) were looking for. The room, while not large, was perfectly adequate, clean, comfortable beds, with good air con. Much needed as it was 35 deg plus in Riva that week. Glorious garden terrace to have breakfast or an afternoon drink on. Extensive buffet breakfast with a chef available for any special requests - eggs over easy, omelettes. Good sized pool with poolside bar service. Very, very welcoming and friendly hotel staff. Perfect location. Exit the car park on to a street with a sidewalk. Walk 200 yds and you enter the pedestrianised old centre of Riva. Exit the car park onto the main road - also with a sidewalk- walk 500 yds downhill and you will reach the ferry terminal. No downsides. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Super Garten und Pool! Frühstück war sehr gut, Zimmer mit Balkon - Aussicht super, Zimmer schon ein wenig älter aber mit viel Charme! Gleich neben der Altstadt von Riva und Personal ist super freundlich!

Kurzum: Lage, Pool, Garten, Bar, Frühstücksterrasse und Frühstück sind top! Auch die Mitarbeiter sind extrem freundlich! Schade nur, dass die Zimmer (wie bei vielen anderen Häusern am Gardasee) sehr in die Jahre gekommen sind. Eine Renovierung wäre zu empfehlen!

I have just returned from Hotel Villa Miravalle where I spent a week as a solo traveller. I had booked one of Suites which was quiet and spacious with its own little garden. The food was first-class at every meal I ate there. My husband had been a qualified patissier and also was a great chef and would have loved it. The hotel was very quiet with lovely spaces to sit and a gorgeous terrace. The location was perfect for the historic town centre and the lakeside - an easy stroll to both. The swimming pool was lovely and rarely busy during my stay. But above all the staff made the hotel such a welcoming place to be - you felt you entered a hotel for a week but when you left it was like leaving a family behind. To mention a few Nathalie (always charming and helpful), Giulia and Greta my photographers when I needed a photo of myself taken, Jordana the biggest smile ever, Silvia a lovely and welcoming word at lunch-time. Having lost my husband of 50 years two years ago Greta and Jordana were shoulders to cry on when I had a little upset one evening, Daniele always pleasant and helpful - the list goes on. I will never forget this place and hope to return in the not too distant future. Riva del Garda is a charming town as well and from there it is easy to get to Limone and Malcesine by boat. I mustn't forget the Chef Luca and his Assistant Davide. The food was a work of art at each meal. Villetta Annessa was worthy of its Michelin Star. Grazie mille. Mi manca tanto. Katherine

Travelled with Jet2 from LBA. This hotel is so underrated - listed as 3 star + but much better than that. Quiet yet only 100 meters from bars and restaurants and only another 100 yards to the heart of the old town..Superb breakfast and wonderful staff throughout. We stayed in a prestige room with balcony,table and chairs and a lake view. Highly recommended

Das Zimmer war zwar recht klein, hatte aber alles was wir für die vier Tage gebraucht haben und vor allem einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den Gardasee. Man hat uns auch ein Upgrade angeboten, was wir aber gar nicht wollten. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hat uns bestens informiert. Das Frühstück war exzellent und die beiden jungen Damen, die sich darum gekümmert haben, ebenfalls sehr nett und absolut dienstleistungsorientiert. Das gesamte Ambiente und die Atmosphäre sind sehr schön. Alles ist sauber und die Lage in Riva könnte nicht besser sein. Wenn wir noch einmal nach Riva kommen, dann auf alle Fälle wieder in die Villa Miravalle.
