Hyatt Place Pittsburgh Airport/Robinson Mall

Nice subtle hotel, a place you want to go if you want solace. The breakfast wasn't all that good I could have more options. But overall the hospitality was great.

Top-notch customer service. Airport shuttle was out of service so complimentary Uber/Lyft rides were available. Lobby and restaurant areas were aesthetically pleasant and very clean. Pool and surrounding areas were clean and organized. There was some deferred maintenance such as unwashed windows and frayed carpet but this did not detract from an overall excellent stay. Almost forgot to mention that several excellent restaurants are within 5 minute walking distance.

The breakfast was not appetizing at all. I wish you would have offered a bacon or sausage option. The eggs were extremely bland and undercooked. Our check-in time was 3:00 we got there at 4:00 and our room was still not ready. The pool was very cold so much so that I couldn't even get in. I'm disabled with a spinal cord stimulator implanted so being in water that cold hurts.

Rude staff. Dirty room. Mold in room. No shampoo or body wash. The lady checking me in said she’s not working right now. Five minutes before breakfast was over a worker took the milk from me as I moved over two steps after filling my cereal. Took the plastic tool to remove the waffles while they were beeping done, breakfast time was not even over at this point. Her and another worker then mocked me after being rude to me. There was a used bar of soap in our shower. No liquid shampoo or body wash. Hair from others everywhere. Couch had red stains and the carpet was awful and had growth in the corner of what appeared to be mold. Our air conditioner was cracked and broken up, hardly worked.. my friend had to clean the filter. Should have known this place was going to be shady because when I called they said there wasn’t the room I wanted available, I asked why it comes up online and they told me go figure it out online then and hung up on me. I actually accidentally booked here because I thought they had an outdoor lounge area and it was my birthday so I thought we would enjoy that. The only way to enter is through a parking lot full of huge potholes. I’ve been a traveler for 10+ years, worst experience for the price I paid. My friends who traveled with me for my birthday were very disappointed by this hotel. Never again. Only good news is there were no bugs.

The staff are amazing. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small, but functional. Overall a great place to stay if you want to be close to the airport and the shopping in Robinson.

Staff was great and friendly. I was told when I called the parking if you flew was $5 a day, then I get there and because I didn’t book under, “park and fly” it was $10 which is a bit sketchy seeing as I called Hyatt Directly and booked and told them I was flying and leaving my car. Also being a Hyatt rewards member doesn’t really matter apparently. The condition of the hotel is another thing. Very drab and beat up. Carpeting ripped and messed up. Some lights didn’t work.
