great location near metro and walking distance to some amenities, room quite small but clean, no receptionist full time not convienient, arrangment with door code sometimes didn't work!!!

Loved the room. It had all we needed and was close to our activities. We were worried about carrying luggage up stair but helpful staff carried them up. 😊

Very nice new decorated room. Coffee water juice and snacks provided.

Amazing location! Tiny rooms with very, very thin walls. A/C didn’t work so room was incredibly hot.

Room is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is in a great location within walking distance of good restaurants, shopping and tourist sites. Parking here is very challenging but you can find pay lots across river and leave your car there.

Looking out the window at all the passers by. In the heart of Rome. But when windows and curtains closed all noise and light blocked out. So close to everything. Very helpful staff. Reception great and helpful manager who responded immediately if needed. Beds great. Loved this place.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel because it is a block away from Piazza del Popolo from where our tour departed the next morning at 8. The car service from aiport was welcoming and efficient. The room was good size, well equipped, clean, and bathroom was small but well equipped, modern and clean. Bed was a bit hard for me but pillows were good. I loved looking out the window from our second floor to watch all the action on the street below. We ran into housekeeping who was very friendly and asked if we needed anything. Rosa was the young lady who checked us in. She texted a message to my cell so that I could reach out to her in case we needed anything. I did reach out a couple times and she immediately responded. She was very attentive. The common areas are a bit worn and could use some attention but this is an ancient building in the heart of Rome’s tourist attraction so understandable. Our room had all required. The restaurants are plentiful and nearby. Via Condotti, Spanish steps, Trevino fountain are all within easy walking distance. Also from the piazza del Popolo there are stairs to the villa borghese gardens with beautiful sunset view of the rooftops of Rome.

We were in Rome for business but came a couple days early to explore on our own, and chose Ripetta Rooms for it's location and the good reviews. The location indeed was great...quieter street (but you are in a city, so there is no such thing as a truly quiet place), easy access to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain...and more specifically, the meeting place of our tour which was just around the corner in the piazza. I saw many reviews complain about the rooms being dirty - all I can say is that our room was very clean along with the reception room. And yes, the room is small, but this is Europe and from my experience this room was a decent size compared to other truly tiny rooms we've stayed in. The shower was quite small, but again, Europe. What was truly tiny was the elevator (1 person and maybe 2 pieces of luggage). It was very much appreciated as we had many bags with us (long story) and got them up to level 2 and only had to carry them down 1 easy flight of stairs. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and the gelato shop around the corner is fantastic.

Nice Rooms on 1st level. Very tiny elevator and stops olny between floors. You have carry your luggage either half a level up or downstairs. Only one person and one large luggage at the time.

Don’t stay here! Didn’t realize this was a boarding house, not advertised as such. $699.74 for 3-nights in a place I could barely fit in the elevator, let alone my luggage. You walk in the main door and the stucco is falling off the wall. No services whatsoever, except for the linens to be changed. The room itself was fine, but the environment was awful. Photos of the outside would have been helpful or maybe one of the falling stucco. The air conditioner was set at too high a temperature and it could not be adjusted except upward, I needed it cooler. For the price I feel like I was robbed, $207.00 a night?? I’m currently at the Marc Munich now and this place is the Carlyle in New York by comparison. I’ve never in might long traveling history felt compelled to write a review, let alone one as scathing as this one. I read many 10/10 reviews before booking this, numerous people called it a hotel which it most certainly is not. The reviews did not match my impression at all. I couldn’t be more disgusted that I paid nearly $700 for this place. Lastly, after traveling nearly 20 hours, I was met by a driver who didn’t even know where it was located, we walked up and down the street dragging my luggage, there was no one there when I arrived and had to stand in the street for 20 minutes to be let in. Lastly, it saidthe “front desk” is operated between 9AM-1PM. I never saw another person my entire stay and certainly no one at the front desk. If there was a way to get my money refunded I would do it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rippeta Room, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location couldn't be better; it's nestled in the heart of Rome offering easy access to all the attractions and amenities the city has to offer. The communication was impeccable. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I also got soft drinks, juice and cookie. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. My room was not only spacious but also impeccably clean, with attention to detail evident in every corner. The fresh, inviting smell that greeted me upon entering the room was a delightful touch. What truly sets Rippeta room apart is the level of care provided during my stay. From personalized recommendations for local attractions to thoughtful gestures that made me feel valued as a guest, the staff truly went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. My experience was exceptional, and I can't wait to return. Whether you're visiting Rome for business or pleasure, I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay.

Ideale Lage

The photos on this site have been filtered and staged. This at best is a hostel, not a hotel. The rooms are small and not comfortable. We arrived at 5:30 in the evening. We had to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The person who checked us in, and had us pay the tax at that time, in all other hotels I have stayed at this is done at check-out, left the building immediately once that was completed since the "reception hours" are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Unfortunately for us, the Ryder Cup was taking place in Rome and we could not find another place to stay or we would have left. I'm providing pictures of the entryway, stairs, and the always-vacant reception area.
