"We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Hotel itself is very close to the train station and plenty of mall and eateries. On top of that they have in house facilities to keep you entertained and massage chair to end your hectic day. Staffs here are absolutely amazing and very easy to communicate. One of the FD helped me extend my check out till 2pm as our flight was in the evening. I forgot to take his name but thanks a lot for that. Even the concierge staffs are so amazing and friendly, felt so safe and welcoming everytime we came in and out of the hotel. "As a Crowne plaza, it is a bit disappoint for me, first of all a hotel located in an old town in Guangzhou area not much local restaurant around hotel, you have to walk around 3 blocks to find some restaurants, otherwise you have to eat in the mall opposite the hotel which you can find a good hot pot on the fifth floor. Secondly, a hotel is a bit old compared to many 5 stared hotels in China nowadays, anyway it’s still well managed. Thirdly, the room is quite big but it’s still lack something in the room such as a table in the middle in the room or a couch, I can’t find somewhere to sit while I stay in the room with my partner instead of bed. Finally, I not sure does the hotel has suana or steam bath or not but they should have, by the way gym was great."

"We came on a vacation with our families and booked 3 rooms in total. As we decided to choose the stay and dine option on selected nights to indulge in the restaurants within the hotel，we ended having to make multiple booking separately and in different category rooms. As such it was rather troublesome when we need to switch around the rooms on different dates. However, thanks to Ms Gillian from the front desk who was really accomodating and kind to give us an upgrade basis on our highest paid room booking type and allowed us to keep the same room type throughout our 5 nights at the hotel. The suite room was huge and on level 25th floor with a good view. It was very comfortable and we ended up coming back early some nights to chill in the hotel room with our families. It was an extremely pleasure stay which we highly recommend."

"Hotel is connected to Teemall so we were well shieldied from summer heat and subsequent heavy rains due to typhoon Wipha for shopping and meals. Chinese restaurant  serves  good Cantonese cuisine and buffet restaurant  had very generous spreads like oyster with caviar and free flow wines during dinner. Rooms had great views of sunset and even saw rainbow after heavy rains! Hotel was also responsive to requests to make my 81 year-old mother more comfortable and safe like  providing a chair in the shower. Also surprised me with a birthday cake, thank you Sheraton!"

"I had initially booked two nights at the Guangzhou President Hotel (cancelled one night, so I can't leave a full review), but it was truly unbearable. Due to a flight delay, we only checked in after midnight with our child already asleep. The very next morning, we quickly switched to The Westin. It really shows that established 5-star hotels are more reliable. Firstly, the lobby immediately felt like a proper 5-star standard. The service was gentle and courteous, and the room was spacious with a fresh scent, perfect for our child to run around. The 2-meter king-size bed was very comfortable for our family of three. The dressing area leading to the bathroom was also very roomy, and I particularly appreciated the many mirrors. My only suggestion for improvement would be the bathroom. The bathtub area definitely felt a bit dated, and the shower was integrated with the tub. The toilet wasn't smart and lacked a quiet-flush feature. The vanity sink was also a bit smaller than what I'd expect from a traditional 5-star hotel."

"We spent one night in this hotel on our way home. It is an extremely elegant, clean and well-maintained hotel. The rooms are high up, starting from the 50th floor. The Londoners jumped in as soon as we arrived, check-in was quick and pleasant. We asked for an extra bed for our child, which was already at the door when we got there. We got a wonderful, huge room with a great view. The bed was extremely comfortable. The water pressure was the best during our long trip. We sat at the table with a teddy bear for breakfast :) I ordered an omelette, American pancakes for our child and a cappuccino for myself. The cappuccino did not arrive at all. The hummus and raspberry pastry were a pleasant surprise. There was a kind of pistachio pastry, the last of which was taken right in front of my nose by an extremely rude guest and since they did not bring more, I could not taste it. The water tank was not refilled, I was able to fill the last half glass by taking it off the stand, removing the top, and pouring it into the glass. The staff noticed this and we were given two mugs of lukewarm water, not cold, directly on the table. Breakfast was definitely the weakest point of our stay. All the food was very delicious, but the staff was inattentive, forgetful, and not proactive in the slightest. Check-out was also smooth, everything was prepared. Since our flight was delayed due to stormy weather, we were able to stay in the room longer, which we would like to thank for."
