Check this place out for a new experience!
Amazing hotel, one of a kind! The attention to detail of design was above and beyond any theme type lodging I have ever experienced. The decor is custom and original, rustic yet precise and very comfortable. I thought we were staying in a 5 star monastery turned tourist boutique. And the bathroom was beautiful and modern.

Hotel in convento con stile cinquecentesco (non antico), molto pulito e caratteristico. Note negative: ascensore fuori uso, consumato noccioline da frigobar, al momento del check out pagato 2,50 euro con banconota da 5: trattenuti 3 euro poiché non avevano il resto….

Anche ad aprile 2025 siamo ritornati all'hotel San Gabriele durante un viaggio in Germania . Ci rechiamo volentieri in questo hotel particolarmente confortevole e suggestivo per la location antica ristrutturata con massima attenzione e cura dei dettagli. Le stanze ricordano gli alloggi dei monaci con un livello di comfort molto elevato. Completa l'esperienza piacevole il ristorante Il Convento che ha una cucina italiana di ottima levatura, anch'esso in un ambiente antico.

Im alten Kloster wurde ein sehr schönes Hotel eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal, ein wunderbares Ambiente und ein ganz tolles Restaurant. Im Restaurant haben wir hervorragend gegessen und getrunken. Die Betreuung durch den Chef war erstklassig.

We received very good service from the friendly staff and our room was excellent, spacious with a cozy feel to it. The building it self is amazing and gives a wonderful medieval feel, but with all the modern technology. The restaurant, Il Convento, was a very good experience. The service was excellent and the Italian food was amazing, we can only recommend enjoying a meal there in the superb setting. The breakfast was also a good experience. We will definitely use this place for our frequent trips between Italy and Denmark.
