Loved this hotel in the small village of Rothes. The hotel is owned by the Forsyth copper works one of the primary maker of single malt pot stills in Scotland. They lovingly refurbished the hotel and added a wonderful restaurant and bar. Jacob was the man of all trades at the hotel. He welcomed us and showed us to our room. He was the bar tender and he was the primary waiter for our ten course meal. He paired wines for my wife and single malts for me for the main courses of our dinner. Aiden, the chef, did a masterful job preparing a wide range of tastes for our dinner. We loved the location and our three day stay at this hotel.

Fabulous three day stay at Station Hotel. Jacob checked us in, tended bar, and served our 10 course dinner. The chef Aiden was fabulous and was a perfect way to end our 54th anniversary celebration. The bar had 200 single malts available. Our room was spacious and well equipped. Excited to recommend highly thus hotel in the Speyside Whiskey region.

Two friends came here on Sunday for a meal. The food was served and it was inedible so we asked for it to be taken away. We were then left sitting with a glass of wine but nobody came back to offer us any other alternative meals. The food we sent back was lamb and it was under cooked and cold. We then left and were still given a bill for £59.00. We told the waitress we never had the meal so she offered 10% off, we said this wasn't enough as we'd never eaten any of the food. There was no manager or chef available so we paid and left. This was the worst service we have ever had and certainly the lamb was inedible as it was swimming in blood and barely cooked. I would avoid ever going here to eat!

Dining option in the area are limited, but the hotel dining room was very good. There is no lift - so having a room on the upper floor requires slogging your bag up the stairs!

Very large and comfortable room. Lovely bed. Restaurants very nice.
Only complaint was the tv in the room hardly ever worked. Poor cables.

The hotel was superb! We had one of the whiskysuites. Very nice and cosy room. Superfriendly staff and the breakfast was amazing. Car park opposite to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to every especially when you like drinking whiskey. They have an amazing whisky bar !
