Pine Hill Lodge in Vineyard

The B&B is located nicely on a hill surrounded by vineyards. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful orchard and sheeps nearby inviting for a walk. The rooms are comfortable, well maintained, very clean and provide access to the garden with seats and sunbeds. Delicious breakfast with self-baked bread, fresh juice and a lot of other choices. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, thank you!

If we are in the area again, we will certainly stay there once more. And on the next visit—longer than two days. The rooms are excellent, and you can also relax out in the garden. The bathroom is particularly spacious. Anyone who enjoys stargazing will be in for a real treat—you can even make out the Milky Way. We took a wonderful walk through the surrounding vineyards, and if you wish, you can even walk all the way to the sea. The lemon trees in the garden are lovely, and there are even a few sheep living next door. Perfectly suited as a starting point for excursions into Abel Tasman National Park. We also had a very pleasant conversation with the very friendly Jeanette, during which she told us a great deal about viticulture in New Zealand. You can put together your own breakfast selection. We can truly highly recommend PineHillLodge.

Jeanette and Paul were very friendly, upbeat, attentive and helpful. Pine Hill Lodge is tranquil and beautiful. The jacuzzi was a luxurious plus! Scrumptious breakfast with e.g. newbaked bread was served every morning. We also got to feed apples to the sheep, which felt wholesome. Jeanette and Paul really have created a little piece of paradise — thank you for sharing it with us ❤️

Paul and Jeanette are the wonderful hosts of this beautiful lodge nestled in a quiet vineyard with a scenic view and a short drive to a small beach. The rooms are well laid out and extremely clean. There is a sitting area outside the sliding doors where you can relax with your morning coffee or enjoy an afternoon drink. The Sheep across the road really add to this rustic quiet setting. We stayed 2 nights and would not hesitate to return. Jeanette made a special effort to return a valuable item to me that I had left there, going above and beyond to ensure I received it.

We had a wonderful, hospitable stay with Jeanette and Paul. It was a peaceful place. We took a rest after a lot of travelling and enyojed it very much.

We spent three days at Pine Hill Lodge and felt at home from the very first moment. The setting is absolutely breathtaking – nestled among vineyards with sweeping views all the way to the coast. It’s one of those places where you instantly slow down, take a deep breath, and simply enjoy the moment. What made our stay truly special, though, were the hosts, Paul and Jeanette. Their genuine kindness, and attention to detail are exceptional. They made us feel not just welcome, but genuinely cared for, and their tips for exploring the area made our experience even richer. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, with a real sense of care in every detail. Breakfast each morning was a highlight – prepared with love. Pine Hill Lodge is more than just a place to stay – it’s a place to feel good, to unwind, and to create lasting memories. We would return in a heartbeat.
