Excellent atmosphere, service, food and lodging. Animals and birds right on the property. Super nice staff. So close to the river and Selous park.

Excellente expérience chez Baker and Sons. Nous avons pris le package 3 jours/2 nuits avec le transfert depuis Dar, le tour de 2h en bateau sur la rivière Rufiji, la journée safari dans le parc Nyerere avec le meilleur guide, Kenny, et, le dernier matin, la marche dans le bush avec le petit déjeuner. Cuisine de qualité et inventive, les meilleures grillades que nous avons eues depuis que nous habitons en Tanzanie. Service pro, mention spéciale à Moises qui a été aux petits soins. Hébergement spacieux et tout confort avec une terrasse vue sur les singes ! Et nous avons adoré la danse traditionnelle. Bref, pour notre premier safari, nous avons de supers souvenirs. Merci à toute l'équipe et au chef d'orchestre Graydon.

Es una tomadura de pelo total . Primeramente la publicidad de que la familia Becker vive aquí es una gran mentira . Una habitación sin intimidad . TE PUEDEN OBSERVAR TODO EL TIEMPO ..! R tú 215€ por noche más 50€ por desayuno , comida y cena. Aparte. La primera cena , no sabemos ni qué nos sirvieron . La carne durísima , no se que animal intentemos comer por qué no podía masticarlo , patatas fritas y verduras a la plancha ( tomates y pimientos ) Una cerveza 3 usd, botella de vino 23 usd. Extra . Los 50€ incluían solo Agua , refrescos . Al otro día nos fuimos de Safari o sea que llevamos la comida . Madre mía por 20€ Tortilla de patatas fritas , unas 5 mini empanadas de carne de no sé qué carnes eran y palomitas salada 2 cervezas que nos cobraron y 2 botellas de aguas gratis . El safari costó 340€ safari En fin … ! No VENGAS AQUÍ ÑOR QUE ESTO ES UNA ESTAFA TOTAL

We had an amazing experience staying at this lodge; the sunset cruise and game drive were awesome! The service was outstanding, accommodations very comfortable, quiet, and the food was great. I would come back again and recommend to friends and family.

My wife and I had a fantastic 8 days at Baker Safari. It was an unforgettable stay. The Baker Safari team listened to our goals on this trip and was very dedicated to meeting each of our goals in a special and personal way. We obviously wanted to go on Safaris and our guide Muddi was attentive to our aspirations and knew where to take us to see the animals we wanted to see and also give us relevant information. We also wanted to be in contact with the locals and they were able to organize visits to different villages where we were able to experience rich and memorable encounters. Thank you to the whole team, to Graydon who accompanied us in setting up the program of our stay, to Moïse who was sensitive to each of our needs and all the other members of the team who expressed remarkable kindness and professionalism.

Un lodge avec énormément de charme, conçu avec beaucoup de soin d'authenticité. On se croirait dans une très joli cabane avec des bungalows aux beaux matériaux, un environnement boisé et rafraichissant, et quelques singes qui ajouent au charme de l'endroit. Le personnel est aux petits soins tout en restant discret. Graydon, le manager, s'adapte à tous nos désirs sans complications. Les repas sont simples et bons. Nous avons passé un délicieux séjour hors du temps à deux familles. En ce qui nous concerne, nous n'avons pas trouvé le safari bateau indispensable : en dehors du parc et avec la présence humaine, on ne voit pas beaucoup d'animaux, pour un prix plutôt élevé. Mais cela reste une jolie promenade sur la rivière avec un beau coucher de soleil.

Beautiful game lodge 10 minutes from Selous park gates and airstrip. We stayed in the family lodge which accommodates 6 people in a double bed and 2 bunks. Excellent service and food. Selous Game reserve did not disappoint the moment we drove through the gates we saw giraffes followed by monkeys, hippos, crocodiles, a leopard, elephants, impalas, zebra, wilderbeast and boars. Our guide Gervas and driver Nasoro really made the safari extra special with their knowledge and experience. With their advice we waited for the elephants and they passed right by us. We choose Selous over The Serengeti and it did not disappoint. It feels authentic and there are only a few other jeeps that we came across during the day. Do not hesitate to book Baker and Co. It was an amazing experience from the first time we contacted the company to the advice on booking the safari and the best way to get there right through to the actual safari.

The stay at Baker & Son was really nice, with gorgeous sunsets at Rufiji, a great boat tour with lots of hippos, crocodiles and birds, the various monkeys as lodge roommates as well as the bush baby. The tribal tour with the man-eater-lion story was really interesting and very different to normal tourist tours. Very personal! The walking safari with Dr. Simba was also great. We didn't see that many animals, but we learned how to make fire. There could have been more animals on the tours to the national park, but our driver and guide was great, as was the car and the organization. The staff at the lodge were super friendly and there was always far too much really good food in the big bowls... All in all, a lovely stay in a very beautiful and pleasant environment.

A charming and delightful experience! We absolutely loved our time at Baker & Sons Safari. We spent 5 days in the well supplied stone cabin and found ourselves impressed with every detail; my wife was constantly pointing out its "lovely character." Imagine sitting in the morning on the balcony having coffee as the wildlife puts on their best show. We joked that the colubus monkeys might be on the payroll. Our evenings were spent watching the sun go down on the Rufiji river and listening to the hippos, making themselves heard. Everything was clean and immaculate. The manager Moses made sure that all our needs were met. We wished we had brought more family along to experience what we shared. Big Thanks for a great time, Baker and Sons!
