Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay - Adults Only All Inclusive

My hubby and I really enjoyed our stay. The food was great, the staff was very friendly and hospitable. The nightly activities were fun, the room service was also great. We had a variety of restaurants to choose from each day for lunch and dinner. There was a pool bbq everyday and so much more. We stayed at the luxury side of the hotel which was all inclusive. I would recommend this place as I would definitely go back.

Just got back from 2 glorious weeks at this hotel and had a fantastic time. This is our first time in Jamaica but have confined my review to the hotel and the Luxury side as that is where we stayed. I will add a few comments about the Grand side because of the crossover but mainly talk about the adults only side. For info we are from the UK and came with TUI all inclusive package deal so our package will differ from many other people. First off general impressions about arrival, reception and accommodation. We are a couple and our kids are grown up so adults only for us please :) Arrival and lobby/check-in was seamless. We had already checked in using the app ( which I will cover later ) so after a lovely cool towel to wipe our brows and a welcome drink they saw we were checked in already so simply gave us our Luxury wristbands and off we went to our rooms. Our suitcases would arrive later. We paid extra for a Junior deluxe suite with Sea View. I had heard the lifts were flaky at times so requested a lowish floor not too far from Lobby but left the rest up to the hotel and they did not dissapoint ! We were in Block 25 , specifically room 25301. So the numbers relate to Block, floor and room n umber in that sequence so for us that is Block 25/Floor 3/Room 01 and wow what a room !! On the corners of each block on each floor they are the ones with wrap around balconies so the same for Block 25 and 26 with Block 27 being the Ocean front rooms so way more expensive. Fun fact , Ocean view rooms actually look across the same Caribbean Sea as the Atlantic ocean is miles away :) Room was clean, really spacious, massive emperor style 4 poster bed ( just like the website images) with separate sofabed, dressing table and table near the balcony. Outside we had that wrap around balcony I mentioned with table, 2 chairs and two sun loungers and a clothes rack on the wall for your wet swim gear. Minibar built into the main unit which was restocked every day. Note : the coffee machine and bits are restocked by the mini bar person not the chambermaid. Massive bathroom with separate whirlpool bath and shower. We are not bath people but we tried it out one night for a laugh and just use the shower gel from the shower for the bubbles and boy oh boy when the jets come on be prepared for some bubbles !!! So much so we had to do a clean up using all our towels :) As you can see from the photo our view was lovely and although we were only floor 3 we could see the sea and overlooked the pool. If you had a higher floor I am sure the view would have been even better. Room was cleaned every day and although getting towels was a bit hit and miss you can request extra ones via the app which we did once. POOL and BEACH A superb pool on the Luxury side divided into three sections by small bridges . Two of them have built in jacuzzis and the third one near the swim up pool bar has the area for water polo and water volleyball. All of them were lovely and clean.

Nous sommes aller en forfait Luxury face a la mer du 14 au 21 juillet. Nous étions déjà aller a ce resort avec le même forfait en 2014 et nous avions adorer. mais notre 2ieme expérience n'a pas du tout été la même. La section Luxury a plus que doubler depuis 2014, plusieurs modules de chambre on été rajouter, plus 3 sections de piscines. Le buffet en 2014 était petit et la nourriture de qualité et nous avions même droit a des soirées de langoustes. Maintenant c'est rendu un grand buffet mais vraiment plus digne de 5 étoiles. Les drinks a la piscine ne sont plus de qualité comparer a avant c'est un peu n'importe quoi fait très vite. le Luxury est rendu plus une section pour jeunes adultes, a la piscine presque juste du Rap et Hip hop, musique bien trop forte, la journée du foam party, ca été un dérapage total, les jeunes filles pencher par avant sur les rampes de piscine jambes écarter. et je n'irai pas plus dans les détails et les animateurs encourage ceci, les gens totalement saouls, versaient leur mug pleine de bière dans la piscine. c'était le chaos total. Chambre par contre propre, oreiller bcp bcp trop molle, lieux propre. senteur de **** dans les chambre aucune idée comment ca rentre, peu être par les conduits. concernant les forfaits face a la mer, a droite du module avant les chiens des maisons a cote jappe constamment jour, soir et parfois nuit. Plage très ordinaire pour les fan de belle plage ce n'est pas la place. Personnellement j'ai été malchanceux j'ai eu un intoxication alimentaire qui ma mis sur le carreau un peu plus de deux jours. spectacle cote Luxury très modeste. Cote service, le sourire n'est pas fourni par tout le personnel. En conclusion le forfait Luxury est rendu un hang over pour les jeunes adultes.
