"First, the good points. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was plentiful at breakfast time. The bad points: we stayed during a heatwave and the lack of ventilation or air conditioning made this absolutely stifling hot even at night. The hotel provided a desk fan and we opened the window but it was still 27 degrees in the room overnight which made for pretty terrible sleep. This really needs updating to air conditioning to be suitable for any season other than winter. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed which meant delays getting served and some of the things we ordered for breakfast never materialised. I'm used to buffet breakfast when the hotel is busy but they were cooking to order which I'm sure added to the staffing issues. All in all, if I was in this part of the world in the depths of winter I'd risk staying here again but otherwise I'd give it a miss"

"Excellent stay. Great location with plenty of parking. The on site Beefeater was excellent value with great food. Bedrooms and showers up tot he usual standard. Rooms very quiet considering proximity to the M56. Staff very friendly and helpful."
