Meet Loulan Youth Hostel (Ruoqi Kourgan Road Branch)

This is the worst youth hostel I've ever stayed in. The attitude is extremely bad. They won't let me turn on the air conditioner, and there's no electric fan. The old man is so stingy and looks down on people. He gets anxious when I mention turning on the air conditioner, and yells, "You can stay if you want or not, get out." He also says that 20 yuan is not enough for air conditioning. If you can't afford the price you set, don't stay in a hotel. Is it fun to make yourself uncomfortable? They can't even afford the electricity bill, and the water from the faucet is very small. The whole family is very mean and sarcastic. The bathroom is full of people taking showers and shitting together, and the stench is so nauseating. This is the worst, most trashy, and most disgusting hostel around.

The courtyard is small and has many green plants and potted plants🎍It is clean and tidy, and the environment is very good👍Sister Lin is also a nice person with super good skin. Sister Lin saw that we didn’t eat late in the morning and prepared eggs🥚 for the children (no money was charged). The room was also great. There were also fruits, dates and peaches prepared by Sister Lin🍑, which were especially sweet. Ruoqiang is our first stop after Gannan, Qinghai-Gansu, and Tibet... and entering Xinjiang! It made me feel what enthusiasm is❤️… It’s a pity that we were on our way to Hotan today and couldn’t go to the date garden with Sister Lin… The dates are really sweet and Sister Lin’s letter said we must go when we come back… When we left, Sister Lin gave the child a Hetian jade, I am very grateful🙏 I have been out for more than a month, thank you for making me feel at home… The bath water is very good, hotter than many hotels, super good! And it’s very close to a very famous park! Very convenient...I will definitely try Sister Lin’s cooking when I come back! It's really like a 'Lin Daiyu' fell from the sky, she is very beautiful and kind-hearted 👍👍👍My brother even picked some black wolfberries for me!

It is the only youth hostel in Ruoqiang and also a representative one. The boss has a story, and the family is very friendly. The aunt is diligent and cooks delicious dishes. When I left the next day, she gave me a bag of her own dates, and Lao Baxi gave me a cup of American coffee. Although it was my first time staying in a youth hostel in the village, I had always wanted to find a homestay, but the homestays were all a few kilometers away from the county town, not far away. On the contrary, I felt that the air in the village was good and comfortable.

The Loulan Museum is really worth recommending to visit. I live in a three-person room, the room is comfortable, and I sleep comfortably at night. The water pressure and electricity are not stable, but everything else is very good. It is worth recommending.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Balang Inn. I stayed here in August last year. This year, Ruoqiang chose this place without hesitation. The owner, Xiaoxiong, is very enthusiastic and caring. He is also very kind to my puppy. When he left He also helped us recommend the next stop suitable for pets! It was very hot after 2:00 noon, and Mother Bear immediately brought watermelon to cool us down. In the evening, we had dinner at Little Bear's house, and the dishes cooked by Auntie were also delicious! You will always meet a lot of interesting souls in the youth hostel. Xiaoxiong is one of them, and Kiki, a young lady from Anhui who lives there, is also one. Chatting stories with travelers from different places, the journey is more interesting! I like Xiaoxiong's house, and I will stay there again when I go out of Xinjiang!
