Bluesea Gran Playa

We arrived on the 26th May. The hotel was not to bad. Could do with some upgrading. The staff was very friendly and polite. The rooms was of a good standard. The cleaners come in every day to make bed etc. The pool was lovely with plenty of sunbeds. Liked the idea of €1 per cup(returnable at the end of your holiday)at the bar. Means there was no cups left laying around and made it look cleaner. The only BIG downside was the food. The choice was poor, it was sometimes cold. We had a child with us and no kids section. Somethings over cooked and the show cook was only 1 item. They was cooking and putting it under the heating section. But you had raw meat next to it. Same desserts every night. Most days we would only have a salad roll and our son pasta or chips. We always go all inclusive and this is the WORST food ever.

Rooms very clean , staff helpful and friendly. Beds very comfortable. The any thing I would change is the one part of the poolside becomes very slippery did see quite a few people and children slip. Near all the shops and the beach, we as a family really enjoy this resort and have stayed there for the last 18 years

We had our first all inclusive family holiday with a nearly 2 year old here. Honestly couldn’t fault the hotel. We had a lovely junior suite with a travel cot set up with its own mattress and bedding. The room got cleaned daily and the air con worked a treat! We were on level 5 and managed to get a sea view and Mountain view. Our son loved the mini disco on a nighttime and enjoyed paying in the kids club room, all the staff were really good and welcoming with our son. The location of the hotel was better than I expected, the beach was a 10 minute walk, plenty of places to eat and drink near by which catered well for our little boy. The resort is very family friendly. We even had a walk to Cala Millor which was only 25minutes. The pool was very clean and perfect for little kids, we were able to get sun loungers by the pool any time of day. The buffet was fresh, hot and plenty of options so there was at least something to eat at some point of the day for more picky eaters. The drinks for the all inclusive were fine, I was disappointed that the cocktails weren’t included but the vodka was so wasn’t a big deal! For what we paid for the holiday in total this was an absolute bargain! Would love to go again, way more of Sa Coma to discover!

I came to Sa Coma to meet a few friends and booked myself into the hotel. On Arrival to my room I found Cockroaches all over my room and when told to staff, they were very unhelpful and did not seem to care. They relocated me to another hotel as they said there was no more rooms available which was clearly not true. The pool area was covered in crisps and food all over the floor which is understandable as there are alot of kids. It was reported to staff and no staff member came to clean it as it really did seem like they didn’t care. What a nightmare of a place, would avoid at all costs many other hotels around that will give you a better experience. Will never step foot in the place again and I hope no others make the same mistake.

What a place to come on your holidays.. if you went off everything you read on trip advisor it would put you off, but if you want a totally honest review here it is… We came as part of a large family group to the blue sea gran playa sa coma, the staff are immediately friendly and helpful from the moment you step foot through the doors, nothing is too much trouble. The bright vibrant entrance is clean and tidy, and offers fresh fruit infused water for you to help yourself at anytime throughout the day. Staff on the front desk were organised helpful and very accommodating to everything we needed. On receipt of check in you are issued 1 room key, but can be a pain if people are in bed and you need to go out, but when you ask for another there isn’t any issues with being given another aswell. Kettles are available to hire, and so are mobility scooters should you need, along with other appliances you don’t want to clog up your cases. Kettles are €10 deposit and €2 per day… mobility scooters were €75 for 5 days.. one of our party used this service. The hotel is situated right in the centre, where there is shops and facilities and other pubs and resteraunt around, and also only a small walk to the beach from here, approx 5-10 mins. There is also a small market that backs on to the hotel on Wednesdays at 6pm until 11pm at night selling clothes, candles, jewellery, crepes l, cotton candy, sweets, freshly made nuts, and personalised items etc. The rooms ant the hotel are lovely and vibrant, bright white walls, and fresh linen each day, towels are replenished every day should you wish to. There is hand soap at the sink and hair and body wash in the shower so if you forget your own there is always some there. The beds were memory foam mattresses, and really comfortable, although the beds were singles pushed together so therefore avoid the middle. lol. Their rooms all have a safe, and a mini fridge which keeps water and drinks cool. A Large balcony with seating perfect for early morning sun rises and evening sunsets, all fitted with a drying rack on them. There are 3 pools with plenty of sun loungers to go round, there wasn’t anyone out reserving as there was no need. Some people did but there were always beds available. The food was cooked fresh at every service, and kept very clean and tidy, a wide variety of food options for most palettes ranging from freshly cooked meats and fish, pastas, stews, potatoes, curries, risottos and paellas, always a salad bar, and fresh fruit and desserts, but if your a picky eater looking for British options, you have chips, pork chops, chicken breast, pizza some days, nuggets some days, and some other kids foods like burgers but not everyday. There is a menu upon entering the restaurant should you wish to read it prior. Breakfast is 8am until 10am- both continental and full breakfast style options (although no mushrooms lol ) Lunch sitting was 1.30pm until 3pm a wide variety of fresh foods and this was usually when piz

Do not believe all the bad reviews, yes the food is repetitive but it did not stop most of the people i saw stacking their plates up and going back for more, its not 5 star its 3 star and the food and drink on the all inclusive is more than adequate, although kids food waa not really catered for other than pancakes and churros, needs a kids section. The hotel is very clean and the junior suite was perfectly fine just please have proper pillows not the long flat thing with zero neck support. The staff are excellent and hard working plus very accomodating for our infant. Pool area was well maintained and a good size and the 1 euro cup charge is a great idea, stops them being dumped everywhere. Overall we enjoyed our time there and would happily return.
