Camping le Chatelet

Excellent camping, emplacement parfait et très bonne équipe. Voyage à refaire l'année prochaine. Je recommande vivement

Nous étions dans un mobil home exclusif hyper spacieux la literie est excellente il y a meme un four très rare dans les mobil home Manque plats allant au four Le personnel tres sympathique et compétent Bien situé a 20 mns a pieds du centre ville meme si la cote a remonter est un petit peu raide ca se fait bien. Tres belle vue ou que l on soit Camping très bien équipé (piscine sauna étang jeux enfants avec tyrolienne...meme s il n y a qu un seul terrain de pétanque lol Nous reviendrons

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic campsite! Great location, fun accomodation, beaitiful view, gorgeoius beaches nearby .We would love to return!

Accès à la place facile, chemin de rando partant du camping, piscine au top, petit étang pour passer un temps de pêche, jeux idéale pour enfants et ados, vue mer, prestation de qualité... Ce camping a vraiment répondu a toutes nos attentes

The campsite is in a beautiful location, with well maintained pitches overlooking the sea and a short walk to a beautiful beach. The facilities are not so good. The  main toilet block is very dated, showers look like they are from the 70's and while the toilets are clean with toilet roll and seat, there was NO SOAP! All the dispenses remained empty even after notifying reception x2. In my opinion not very hygienic as  located next  to the bar & snack bar. The excuse, they forgot and it would be resolved in a few days! Other smaller blocks did have soap, some a little more modern but still not what I would expect for a campsite that claims to be 5 star. The bar area is nice, stunning views, but the lack of a restaurant serving decent food is disappointing. The snack bar serves ready-made pizzas and burgers again not 5 star standards. There is a small shop for basic provisions. We would recommend the site for the location and views, but don't expect 5 star facilities. Make sure you bring your own food or walk into town, which is roughly a 30 min walk, for more choice. We have stayed at the Romanee site in Ars-en-Re which has much better facilities and soap!

We have been holidaying with Eurocamp for over 40 years and very rarely have anything to moan about and in general we trust the brochure descriptions. Well Eurocamp, you got this one wrong, it is advertised as a “10 minute walk” to the town (St Cast) it took us over 30 minutes, and coming back is up a long steep hill. It is advertised as having two shops, it has one very small store, it advertises a Restaurant, it does not have one. Despite being at the camp in July, no entertainment of any kind was provided. We spent the first 24 hours without hot water, as the provided local “emergency number” was not manned it took a couple of calls to the UK to get the system re-booted. Not all negative though, the Mobile Home was very clean and tidy, nice quiet site in general, good takeaway food, good bar with sensible prices. The message is Eurocamp, review your sales advertising, you are letting yourselves down.
