Motel Blanche d'Haberville

I wasn’t expecting much - just a place to crash for the night but it turned out to be a great experience in a cozy, clean and picturesque boutique motel. I would definitely go back to explore the town and to stay in this wonderful motel. A pleasant stay for sure.

Beautiful motel, updated and clean. We were travelling with 2 dogs and having exterior entrances makes it so much easier to take them out. Just a short walk to a park on the water. Would definitely stay again and recommend the motel to everyone.

I found this motel online and booked at their website. My husband, myself and our small dog were travelling from New Brunswick to Kingston, Ontario and wanted to split up the drive. Upon arriving I was informed there would be a $28 charge for the dog. There was no mention of this when I booked the motel so I let the clerk know that I did not agree with this charge. She advised me that this was for any extra cleaning. As this was not on the website or mentioned when booking I said that I did not want to pay this extra charge. I said that the website only says pets welcome and this is misleading. She did take the time to look at the website and agreed it did not show that there would be any charge for the dog. The clerk said she would not charge me this time but any future stays would require the fee be paid and that she would advise the owner to update the website. I was pleased that she rectified the situation. I had booked a small room with a queen bed. The room was mostly clean though there was a drip of coffee on the mini fridge (attention to detail) and the bathroom sink wasn't properly cleaned. There were only two pillows on the bed where most motels have four but it didn't impact our sleep. The only other issue was a bit of noise from somewhere above us (walking noises.) Overall I would recommend this motel as the price was great and we enjoyed our stay.
