Very unique and beautiful home!

Nice stay We had a very nice stay for our week trip. Very quiet and clean place. We would definitely stay again.

A Period Gem in St. Joseph This gem, lovingly equipped with period pieces, blends modern conveniences with late 19th century architecture. Warm and inviting, it's located high atop a bluff near the river, close to downtown St. Joseph. The location is convenient to I-229, yet far enough away to be quiet. Would definitely stay there again!

HISTORY WITH ROBIDEUX LOVED THE REVIVAL OF WHAT WAS ONCE CERTAINLY A 'GRANDE DAME' The fireplace that was triggered to come alive as the sun set was a special touch, the ancient bedframe , the carved designs on the chairs, the lobby came to life around the fireplace showcasing the iron cherubs, the banisters reflected a gorgeous wooden patina, the arched window frames, the circled Bay windows all added to the Victorian aspects of the mansion. The history of who built the home and when would be welcome as a brochure in each of the separate apartments. The entire stay was a welcome respite and in a quiet neighborhood. The location on the hill overlooking (almost) the Missouri River, the coziness of the neighborhood, and the ambiance of the interior rooms all contributed to the restful and enjoyable stay. I enjoyed meandering up and down Museum Hill District. along with the Robidoux Row Museum. Fascinating history

I loved the Victorian style, the quality furniture and decor. My room was spacious and the kitchen was well-furnished. I would stay here again if I'm ever in St. Joseph again! I had a problem getting in the first time (the code would not open the key-holder), but when I contacted the owner, she responded quickly and resolved the problem with the help of the onsite room-cleaner.

Fairly new renovation of victorian mansion Property is in a historic area of St. Joseph. Sidewalks and streets need attention. Street Parking somewhat dark. Property is obviously undergoing renovation and our apartment was quite adequate. Small Bathroom w/shower but room roomy. Windows still drafty (very old) but air conditioner worked very well. Queen bed very soft, nice linens. TV was confusing to us (seniors) w/o clear directions. Lovely old Victorian residences near. THIS definitely is an OLD section of city, but reasonably priced. Would stay there again.
