Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort

The Bayview Plaza Waterfront was a nice and convenient location to beach access and various eateries. Bay views were a welcome experience too. The excessive resort fees were a bit surprising. Nearly $90 for 2 nights. This was not clearly noted on travel sight. This should automatically be included in quoted rate on travel sights. Would have swayed our decision had we known ahead of time.

We had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by Annika during our stay, and she truly made the experience unforgettable. We had an issue with the washing machine on site so Annika stopped by our room, inquired about the issue and grabbed my “not washed” clothes from the machine that didn’t work. She then took them to wash and dry in the hotels machines and even dropped them back off to us - all while having a smile! Annika went above and beyond to ensure our small issue was resolved. Her professionalism is matched by her kindness, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about guests having the best possible experience. Annika is the kind of employee who elevates a hotel from good to exceptional. I will definitely return knowing I’ll be in such great hands.

The owner Robert of this resort has been amazing towards Floridians that have been displaced due to the hurricanes. It truly is a comfort to know that there are folks out there that truly care about their communities. Despite not being able to book tourists, Robert has kept us all here and has never once mentioned a checkout date. He has been working tirelessly with the state officials to get Fema to extend us. As he is understanding that we still are having a hard time finding a permanent place. I cannot express the gratitude that I have towards the Bayview Plaza resorts in Saint Pete Beach. Since I have been here, it’s been a place of healing and comfort. The room I am in has been renovated specifically for Fema recipients. The amount of support the staff and Robert have shown us is immeasurable. The accommodations they have provided us as nothing short of stellar. Outside of being displaced this is the best resort I’ve ever stayed in in Florida. And what makes it better is the fact that the owner is truly active in the community and has true concern for the community. I cannot say the same for other places throughout Florida. I’ve stayed at three other places in all three times I’ve had to relocate due to the hotels wanting to have those rooms available for tourists. Robert has not done that at all. He’s kept us here despite the fact that Fema has stopped paying for a room and we are still awaiting for Fema to extend us. Again, the amount of gratefulness I hold is not measurable.

This is a joke right??? I’m about to write this review but below I got people commenting that they’re staying there but my stay gets cancelled that I booked in JANUARY?!!?? So residents can stay but I can’t because I’m not a resident but paid my thousands of dollars to stay 5 months ago? Horrible customer service. I booked in January for May. It’s April 21 and you now tell my travel agency that you can’t uphold your room because you thought you could open May 1st but now you can’t. Why even accept reservations for stays if you can’t guarantee a room? I wonder if I’m the only one because I can’t imagine all your customers have been told 2 weeks before they’re suppose to be there. Now I am forced to look for another stay and pay 3x-4x more than I originally paid for my stay. I had high hopes for this place and I was so excited. You ruined a vacation that didn’t even start yet. Thank you.

Would NOT Recommend There were roaches. The curtain was filthy. TV wouldn’t work. Bed was uncomfortable. Lots of noise from the air conditioning. I barely slept and will not be staying there again.

Great resort Nice stay friendly staff. Can go to 3 resorts with your stay access to beach pools and beach bar.
