Sooooo attentive - everybody - the attention to detail, the friendly warm & welcoming staff (especially Kris at reception) was outstanding. Clean, warm, inviting and great breakfast. Congrats to you all at the hotel - you got our stay very right!!!

A superb hotel rooms where clean and very comfortable the staff were amazing we were met with a glass of prosecco while they parked our car the concierge was just the nicest and all the staff were just outstanding they even went to the trouble of leaving us a little birthday treat in our room .facilities were outstanding and the food really was some the best I've ever eaten .I cannot wait to return there I will book for our honeymoon

Lovely hotel Great staff Very clean Exceptional breakfast Beautiful main restaurant Great valet parking The only negative is this isn’t the best hotel for anyone with mobility problems I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and ankle which made some of the amenities difficult for me. The lift is limited only going to some rooms The swimming pool has no steps so need to use ladder to enter impossible for me.

We don’t usually leave reviews, but our 5day stay end of May 2025 at your OGH was exceptional to stay the least, all the staff that we encountered are kind, helpful and always attentive .We must also point out a certain member of staff in particular being Kris ( front duty manager) who was very helpful in relocating us to another room due to couple of issues with our 1st room, nothing was a problem, he’s certainly an asset to your hotel group . The food from breakfast to dinners was also very good , room service was very attentive , all the staff are always greeting you with a smile . Should we return to Guernsey , the OGH will certainly be our choice. Regards Mr & Mrs Duggan

We only spent one night at OGH which is a massive pity! Everything about the hotel was superb-the staff, the room, the restaurant were above amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was a little dated but perfectly clean and relaxing. We had dinner in the restaurant and both agreed it was the best meal we have eaten in a long time, and at a very reasonable price. The breakfast was also amazing. Many thanks to everyone who made the stay so special

What a fantastic stay, Kriss could not have been any more amazing. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. All the staff are incredible and very attentive to detail. Roberto, Pamela and the rest of the staff will make your stay as perfect as possible. The stark suite had amazing views of the port and was ideal for our stay. The small details like a snack in the evening at turn down, a sweetie corner (for those with a sweet tooth) and remembering what you like to drink etc just tops it off. The food is amazing. We thank you, and we hope to see you again next year ❤️❤️

We enjoyed another four night stay at this wonderful hotel. The hotel is ideally situated for St Peter Port, with its own outdoor pool area. A special mention has to be made of Pamela, Tendayi and Shamanee, who made the most wonderful cappuccino. Kris on reception was excellent and how he remembered my name is a complete mystery. It just shows how professional he was. Our room was overlooking the pool area and was very pleasant but on the small side. Everything we had used was replaced daily, which was good. I asked for fresh milk as I don’t enjoy the milk in cartons. Breakfast is always a highlight of the day and the choice was always amazing. The selection of fresh fruit was amazing. Would recommend without hesitation.

Our third visit and each time the hotel has been superb. Facilities are perfect, rooms incredibly comfortable, bar and restaurant relaxing and serving fine food be it the bar menu or restaurant. BUT the overall winner is the staff - they are all so attentive qand pleasant without being pompous, they make you feel so comfortable and relaxed. Nothing is too much trouble. I am particularly impressed by the fact that any of the staff will undertake any tasks tomake the guests stay comfortable, if you would like something you can ask any of them.
