What a wonderful place to stay, so quirky and full of character. This small hotel offers so much including delicious breakfasts, outstanding dinners with their Menu du jour, the wonderful staff. And not forgetting the beautiful gardens and grounds with so many places to sit & relax, a swimming pool & spa. We loved our time here with Emmanuel and his crew.

Fun, well presented dishes, artisan in look and feel. Onion veloute with bacon lardons, followed by veal (very over cooked when I requested pink) and seasonal vegetables. Pudding was a marshmallow with fruit cake. All in, the food was quirky and fun but a little bland. There is a cheese course but we were not offered it which was disappointing. Garden full is wasps, so take a citronella candle with you! They do not accept tips on card, cash only so be prepared for that. Was thinking three stars but gone with four due to the team trying hard to push cuisine boundaries like no other restaurants in the area.

Sandrine Raphaël Manuel et tte la brigade vous accueillent avec le sourire. Pour dénicher ce petit coin de paradis perdu dans le Périgord vert, il vous faudra serpenter sur des routes champêtres. A l arrivée calme et gastronomie vs combleront.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'Hostellerie Saint-Jacques. Tout est parfait: un accueil chaleureux, un cadre très agréable et paisible, des chambres très confortables et décorées avec goût, une cuisine très créative et raffinée, beaucoup d'originalité dans le décor comme dans la cuisine. Une superbe découverte. Bravo et merci pour tout!

Super accueil. On vous monte les bagages en chambre. Eh oui ! Cuisine parfaite, Explosion de goûts. Service irréprochable. Chambre extra confortable. Petit déjeuner au top près de la cheminée. En résumé, un établissement qui donne l'envie d'y revenir. On peut s'y rendre les yeux fermés mais pas trop longtemps pour profiter de la déco originale et de bon goût. Bravo à toute l'équipe. Nous sommes des habitués de ce restaurant, et nous n'avons jamais été déçus. Très bon repas avec des produits de qualité et un accueil plus que chaleureux. Des assiettes superbes et un service très agréable. Merci encore et nous reviendrons !
