This Best Western is the best we have ever stayed at. Management is excellent overseeing every detail to make for a welcoming, delightful stay. The rooms, breakfast room, and grounds were clean and very well-kept. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The courtyard was beautiful. Really! Very resort-like. The pool and poolside was clean. They have a hot tub too in it's own gazebo. Chairs, tables, lounge chairs, and outdoor living room with couches around the pool. Other things we liked were the thermostat on the wall for easier control of the air conditioning/heating and that the unit was relatively quiet. The beds were not saggy and the (4) pillows each were comfortable. There was a wide variety of breakfast choices and lots of seating. The hot-beverage machine was phenomenal! It too had lots of choices of coffees, hot cocoa, and also plain very hot water for making tea with the bags they had available. There were a couple of minuses to our stay. One being the low flow of water in the bathroom sink. And the computer in their business center was down for repairs during out stay which made for some inconvenience without having access as needed. Overall, we were very pleased, would stay here again, and would recommend this fine hotel for it's location, upkeep, and all it's amenities- - - as long as prices remain reasonable! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ***One misleading thing about St. Simons Island, having nothing to do with the hote1! is that there are not really "bike paths". You either ride on sidewalks or in the streets. Nowhere were there asphalt paved bike paths like on Jekyll Island.

I had a fantastic stay at the Best Western Plus St. Simons Island! The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by moss-covered oaks that give it that classic coastal Georgia charm. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from check-in to checkout — they truly make you feel at home. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with great amenities and a super cozy bed. The breakfast buffet was excellent — lots of choices and everything was fresh and well-stocked. I also loved the pool area, which was peaceful and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is ideal — close to the beach, the lighthouse, and plenty of restaurants and shops, but still quiet enough to feel like a private retreat. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Great service, clean rooms, beautiful surroundings, and a relaxing island vibe. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m on St. Simons Island!

Top notch service and amazing ambiance and amenities in a just completed whole property renovation. If not for the outside doors, the rooms are really modern and comfortable. The only downside is the pillows lack any support and electrical outlets are very loose.

Nice quiet place to stay. Peaceful surroundings. No noise or traffic sounds. Highly recommend for a weekend away. Have stayed here many times. Great customer service.
