La Bastide de Saint Tropez

We stayed at this hotel for six nights and spent a considerable amount of money, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. While the setting is undeniably beautiful, the customer service was consistently poor. We were misled by staff at nearly every turn, and there was a clear lack of coordination and professionalism throughout our stay. The food was both overpriced and subpar — truly disappointing for a property that markets itself as high-end. What was most frustrating, however, was the attitude of management. There was no sense of hospitality or appreciation for their guests. When you’re paying this kind of money, you expect not only quality but basic courtesy. Sadly, we encountered neither. This could be a truly special destination, but until the staff and leadership understand what hospitality actually means, I would not recommend it.

Un magnifique dîner gastronomique à La Bastide de Saint-Tropez. Le chef italien, originaire de la région du lac de Côme, dompte avec finesse les saveurs d’une cuisine contemporaine, à mi-chemin entre l’Italie et la Méditerranée. L’équilibre des goûts, la maîtrise des cuissons et la présentation soignée des assiettes témoignent d’un grand savoir-faire. Une adresse rare à Saint-Tropez, à découvrir absolument.

Be sure to use the E-Bikes ! This is a charming hotel just a bit up the hill from the maint town. It was very quiet and easy to get to. We absolutely loved using their e-bikes. They have four - but be sure to reserve them when you want to use. We took for two trips - one to Port Grimaud and the other to Cap Camarat - Pro Tip: Do NOT put in bike route on google maps for Cap Camarat - takes you down roads with gates - use the driving map for this one.

Un merveilleux week-end dans ce magnifique établissement. Le personnel est accueillant et très attentif. La chambre d'un grand confort et d'une propreté impeccable. Le massage au spa a été la cerise sur le gâteau pour un détente absolue. Tout à été parfait, de l'accueil jusqu'à départ. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Great location. Room gorgeous overlooking the pool. Easy to walk into st Tropez. Friendly team on reception and around the hotel. Shuttle but available on demand.
