Overall one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Side note; I live in the UAE, where 5 stars hotel are really common. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, the beds super comfy and the washrooms are every woman's dream (lightning, mirrors and amouage amenities). Staff is super attentive, accommodating and naturally friendly. They actually love what they do and we as guests can feel it's authenticity - which makes everything dining experience really special. The food was beyond delicious and the variety in the buffet made it hard to choose and even harder to not overeat. Congratulations to the management and leadership of the hotel team - you truly do an amazing job. I will definitely be back!

The hotel is absolutely wonderful and meets all the requirements for a luxurious, peaceful, and safe holiday. All the staff members were extremely polite and helpful. They did everything possible to make our stay easier and more comfortable, especially for our little daughter. From the restaurant staff, housekeeping team, to the beach crew—this was truly one of the kindest and most attentive teams we have ever experienced. In particular, Mohammed Ibrahim from the reception was an incredible help. We are truly grateful to him. From the very beginning, he guided us and ensured we had everything we needed. He arranged for us to stay in a villa with a private pool, which we especially enjoyed during the hotter hours of the day when our daughter needed to nap. He stayed in constant contact with my husband through the phone and assisted us with every request—whether it was helping us recover misplaced items, quickly providing necessities for our room, assisting with food choices, and much more. Thank you, Mr. Ibrahim. Al Baleed Resort is a truly beautiful place, but the warm hospitality of the staff made it even more special. Thank you

An absolutely wonderful stay! We were truly touched by the kindness of all the staff. A special mention to Mahmoud and Selim, as well as the entire team at the main restaurant, Sakalan – all so lovely, professional, and always attentive. Many thanks as well to the teams at the front desk, room service, and housekeeping – efficient, friendly, and always smiling. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. We had the most wonderful holiday – everything was simply perfect. Everyone took such great care of us, especially Mahmoud and Munira, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Also, a big thank you to the entire team in the restaurants, Housekeeping, and the Spa – every single person contributed to making our stay truly exceptional. The spa treatment was the best I ever had with the Spa expert ( guest) The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the level of service was outstanding. As both a guest and a hotelier, I can only praise the excellence and professionalism shown throughout our stay. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Al Baleed offers relaxed atmosphere with high class service. The hotel is located at a several kilometers wide sandy beach. It offers nice spacious villas with private pool at a reasonable price. Absolutely remarkable and truly 5 star hotel. Ideal place to take excursions.

A very clean and comfortable resort with a lovely beach setting. The beds were particularly comfortable with lovely crisp bedding. We had a sea view room with a great view over the pool towards the beach and decided this was much preferable to the more expensive private villas. We did really enjoy our time in Salalah but we hadn't realised that it would be Ramadan when we were there, so it's hard to know whether it was quieter than normal. The food was pretty good - we opted for half board which covered the other two restaurants as well as the buffet restaurant (which did get a bit repetitious). It was possible to drink in our room and in Al Mina restaurant with a meal but it felt a little furtive. We tried the Jazz lounge too, but there was nobody else there. So it was a very relaxing week, but very quiet. If you like more going on in the evening, it might be better to choose a different time to visit. Maybe it's livelier at other times? We had an issue with the air conditioning in our room but the staff were very responsive and could not have done more to sort the problem. In fact, the staff everywhere were very friendly and attentive.

The resort looks amazing, kind of Maldives feeling Very clean, helpful staff, fantastic long sandy beach. Please check which month you ate going, I believe Feb/March and October/November are the best. Less high waves and no mosquitos. In Feb we had no mosquitos, they do a lot to keep them away. Loved the pool villa, huge pool. The sports activities are all great! I was bit surprises of the 5OMR charge per person for the minigolf. A big thanks to Munira who took very well care on us and a special thanks to Mihira, he us the recreation Manager and found always time to battle me in Pétanque, Billard and even Tennis. Very fun guy!! Well done! Next time i'll beat you in Billard and Pétanque!! Restaurats: Great buffets, maybe Mekong restaurant needs bit more authentic food, like Sushi was not in best quality. I suggest you for more a la carte opptions to guests. All other was really really great! We got a lovely decoration surprise for our 16th Anniversary!! Thx sooo much!

I stayed for four nights with a friend and it was pretty much perfect. The room was so comfortable, great air conditioning and wonderful comfy beds. We ate in the Mekong and Al Bait restaurants, I had a hiccup with my meal in Mekong but it was dealt with well. We had lazy days on the beach and relaxed thoroughly. And enjoyed happy hour cocktails at the beach bar at sundown. Breakfast was a real treat, nothing too much trouble and amazing fresh juices, we both loved the orange and ginger. Will definitely return…
