H10 Delfín - Adults Only

This hotel was in a perfect location and was excellent in every way. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool, the entire hotel was spotlessly clean. They have a wristband which acts as your room key and which you can load up with euros to make things so easy when buying drinks or food. The animation team, Danny and Marianna, were absolutely excellent and really made our holiday by organising games and activities every day. They made sure everyone was included and through them we met lots of lovely people. We'd definitely recommend this resort and hotel.

Positives- - View from the balcony - Room included toiletries and a mini fridge - Room was cleaned frequently - The staff were very welcoming and friendly - The main pool was a good depth for swimming - Rooftop pool and bar was relaxing with lovely views - Bartenders were generous with drinks - Entertainment in the pool from the animation team was fantastic. - Nightime entertainment was great Negatives- - The food options as there weren’t many things to eat (however I am quite fussy) - Noise at night due to music in the other hotels, nothing some earplugs can’t fix. It ended by midnight. - The pool cleanliness, leaves being dropped from the tree and not moved

Nice clean hotel. Attentive staff. Ideal location, Salou is lively and lots to do. Hotel food delicious. Beds comfortable. All in all a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was friendly and very clean, food was excellent, the bathroom in the room was fantastic with a waterfall shower and all toiletries provided

This was our third visit to the Hotel and overall we had a good stay. The location is ideal and it is only a short walk to the beach and, in the other direction, bus stops. Transfer from the airport is about 20 minutes. We had a room overlooking the pool and were able to watch the entertainment from there, some was better than others. The room itself was perfectly fine, with a fridge but no kettle, and was kept clean by the hardworking and cheery staff. The Michaelangelo Supermarket across the square is very modern and has a wide choice of food and drinks. We already had the Busplana discount bus card so topped it up with 6.50 Euro and this gave us up to 10 journeys. We went to Cambrils (very non touristy) and Tarragona (good shopping centre). There was the usual 9.00 rush for sunbeds and is was amusing to watch those who had a limp move at speed to get their favoured places! We were able to find beds in the shade after lunch although the Hotel could do with a lot more Umbrellas. We had stopped in another H10 Hotel in Tenerife in May, which was also rated as 4*. Unfortunately we felt that the Restaurants in each hotel were very far apart in many aspects. The Delfin had a much smaller food choice at both Breakfast and Dinner. E.g. In Tenerife Omelettes and eggs were freshly cooked but at the Delfin Omelettes were not offered and the eggs were often cold. There also a lack of freshly prepared fruit, 2 types of Melon and Pineapple were the only choices at every meal. The presentation was also poor and some of the serving areas were not kept clean and tidy. While the waiting staff in the Restaurant were polite the Chefs behind the counters did all they could to avoid eye contact and there was a feeling that they didn't want to be there. While we never were hungry we felt that the star ratings didn't align regarding the food.
