Small Luxury Hotel Goldgasse

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Goldglasse. It is a very small hotel. There is no lobby just a little room where we checked in by a delightful lady (sorry I didn't catch her name). She offered us a glass of sparkling wine or tea and then showed us to our room. The room was very spacious with a separate seating area. The bathroom was clean, bright and modern and the shower was great. The little details sometimes make or break a hotel stay for me and there was such great attention to detail here. There were luxury feeling products in the bathroom including conditioner and body lotion which you often don't get. There was a kettle as well as a high quality coffee maker. Even the hairdryer was of a much better standard than normal hotel hairdryers. The bed was very comfortable. The location is great - right in the old town and not more than 10 mins walk from all the main sights. Lovely bakery at the end of the road (turn right out of the hotel). Overall a great little hotel that I would highly recommend.

Traumhafte Lage mitten in der Salzbuger Altstadt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem historisch sehr interessanten Gebäude. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes, sauberes Zimmer. Da das Restaurant geschlossen war, gab es das Frühstück in einem ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernten Hotel (Hotel Stein). Das Hotel ist von der öffentlichen Garage im Berg zu Fuß in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen - hier gibt es ein vergünstigtes Parkticket. Absolute Empfehlung!

Fabulous hotel in every way. Quaint with old world charm. Right in the centre of historic Salzburg close to everything. A wonderful hostess who greeted me with a glass of bubbly. And an absolutely extraordinary breakfast served to my table. Comfortable bedroom with free drinks and snacks. Just perfection!
