Orangutan Bungalow

Reservé en Enero para poder tener uno de los mejores alojamientos de mi viaje en Agosto. Aún y así con 8 meses anticipados me dieron lo que ha sido para mi hasta fecha el peor Alojamiento que he tenido nunca. Ojito con que os den la Casa de bambú. Sucia, insalubre. Reclamé al responsable y se hizo el loco indicando que es lo que había reservado. Y nos invitó a marcharnos. Y ni tan siquiera se preocupar on de proporcionarnos unas toallas en condiciones o pasar por la habitacion y larle un minimo de limpieza. La casa de bambú en cuestion tenia suciedad a decir basta. Toallas que daban realmente asco. Goteras. La taza del wc, de horror. Ni que decir del colchon. Soy consciente que estàs en la selva però eso no està reñido con la limpieza ni que me quiera colar gato por libre. Desde luego podeis juzgar por la fotos si esto es un alojamiento Deluxe como me vendieron por google, no digo que el resto de casitas no sea idilico però La casa de bambú es un terror. A parte de ello informo que hay mas de 15 min de subida de escaleras por la Montaña (aunque este es el mal menor si realmente nos hubiera dado el Alojamiento contratado)

This is a lovely place to stay and everyone was so helpful. I rode up from Medan on a motorbike and didn't arrive until early evening. I called on the way up and I was met personally, and my bike was kept at a personal house for safekeeping. There is a bit of a climb up to the accommodation, but you'd have to climb up there anyway if you're going to do a forest hike. You can get food and drinks at the kitchen. A highly recommended place to stay.

Great place, the guides are organized and ready for every setback! We had a wonderful experience in the jungle,we spent the night in a tent in the jungle and the guides helped us,even there they were organized! Great food and the fruit is just delicious! Super recommended!

What an experience. Amazing guides LIAS, LING and ANDRE. During our 3 day trip we were lucky to see every day Uran Oetang but besides that the guides explain a lot of the jungle the animals, plants, trees, etc. It's is not only about seeing Uran Oetangs but is the complete program. Relaxed hiking, nice breaks with fresh fruit and on-place prepared nasi meal. If you like a well organised jungle trekking book with theses guys. DEDI organises everything and is very helpfull answering your questions. He respons very quickly. Depending on time zone difference mostly already in a few hours. Guys, thanks for the unforgettable time we have spend with you. Keep up doing this job as you did with us

If you read this review, stop your research and book immediately. There is no place in Bukit Lawang with a better location or service. Gorgeous property located away from the main town RIGHT BY THE NATIONAL PARK! We saw multiple orangutans (and other monkeys) from the hotel grounds. The service was unbelievably friendly and the food was delicious. The huts were comfortable and spotless. I can’t wait to be back.

Wow is the perfect way to describe this location and the family that runs it. Dedi made everything so easy during our stay and transportation to the location. On our first morning we saw Orangutans and other monkeys from our window. Who else can say they were that lucky to see an orangutan from their window?! Dedi and his family were so welcoming and booked us a jungle trek tour with incredible guides. I highly recommend these bungalows to everyone! Make sure to let them know the time you arrive so they can direct you towards the entrance of the bungalow. Thank you so much for everything Dedi!
