Hotel Catedral

16.737295°, -92.640320° Just two blocks west of Plaza de la Paz, Catedral de San Cristóbal Mártir and Parque Quiosco Central, this hotel has a centrally location. The hotel offers a heated indoor pool, a gym, free indoor parking and a shop selling local arts and crafts. Breakfast was not included, so we skipped the hotel's restaurant, “El Seminario". The courtyard with lift was a nice place to sit, although the quality of furniture in the common areas was poor. A missed opportunity for better maintenance and amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. In December 2024, warm decor, tiled floors and beamed ceilings room 206 (2F) had a window into the courtyard, comfortable two double beds, flat-screen cable TV and good WI-FI-reception. Hot shower was good. We appreciated the location, sleeping comfort and hotel staff. Recommended.

Les + : hôtel typique, tout près du centre ville donc très bien placé Les - : Chambre avec un confort moyen, salle de bain vétuste, le sèche cheveux ne fonctionnait pas, besoin de rénovation, fenêtre de chambre sur le hall bruyant, on se débrouille tout seul avec nos valises, un seul petit ascenseur limite quand on arrive en groupe de 45 personnes

Das Personal spricht kein Wort Englisch (auch das Wort "toilet" wurde nicht verstanden). Das Zimmer war einfach nur schrecklich: ein finsteres Loch und das Bad war nur schrecklich: Zähneputzen und Katzenwäsche - mehr will man sich nicht antun!!

I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone . Room: older than me , furniture covered in layers and layers of paint, creaky bed , doubtful cleanliness . Large room but uncomfortable layout . The bathroom is difficult to describe : broken window , broken bathtub with no fawcet, the shower above it is so old that it sprinkles water every which way except on you, so wet floor , wet toilet paper but difficult to rinse . They ask for a deposit for the TV remote : from this you can imagine the kind of hotel . The window looks into the lobby and an office , had a hard time closing the curtains and even closed I had a Christmas tree glow into my room all night . Worst hotel ever

Clean cheap and has a pool!!
