What's not to like... Intussen al 2 vakanties hier verbleven, de 3e keer is geboekt voor 2025! (en dat zal zeker de laatste keer niet zijn!) Alles, maar dan ook echt alles, is tot in de perfectie. Diego & Pedro, samen met hun team, laten je welkom voelen vanaf seconde 1. De kamers zijn tot in de puntjes afgewerkt en uiterst hygiënisch. De uitzichten, het zwembad, de kamers, het eten (oh my god het eten!), ... ik kan absoluut nergens & punt van kritiek op geven. Hier wordt met hart en ziel gewerkt en dat voel je als klant! Het is en blijft een echt stukje paradijs! Op nog vele vakanties hier in ons favoriete adresje! Tip: hun zelfgemaakte olijfolie is ook werkelijk fenomenaal!

Amazing stay just outside San Gimignano! Every thing was just perfect. From the warm welcome, to the amazing view from every corner in this place, to the delicious food, and much more. The staff is so kind and helpful. The pool is amazing, with amazing view and lots of places to lay down and chill. Really special calm atmosphere in every corner. We will definitely come back…

Diego e Pedro sono davvero gentilissimi e persone di cuore. Si vede che tutto quello che fanno lo fanno per amore e con passione. La struttura è in una delle meravigliose campagne Toscane ed è un posto che ti fa sentire a casa sin da quando arrivi. Anche al bar, cucina e ristoranti tutti i dipendenti sono estremamente gentili. Abbiamo trascorso purtroppo solo una notte, saremmo rimasti di più, ma è stato tutto davvero perfetto. Grazie di cuore!

This was a perfect place to stay in San Gimignano. Absolutely gorgeous rooms, pool and seating area. Close to San Gimignano and other villages to visit (driving). There is a great walking road behind the resort that traverses the countryside and provides even more amazing views. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. USB plug ins in the room for your phone without needing to use a converter which is convenient. The staff was amazing! The hosts are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was always beautiful and the staff was right there for you every morning for your coffee needs (😊). Definitely recommend and I would absolutely stay here again.

We could not have asked for a more perfect stay. We were 4 couples staying 5 nights and we all had the best time. The food, setting, warmth from the amazing staff, gorgeous rooms, ease of getting to San Gimignano and other towns, cooking class, and the drinks/bar were all exceptional. We all could have stayed a month and hope to go back soon! I had planned a trip for a milestone birthday and was a bit nervous as to which property to choose. Having stayed at quite a few places in the general area I knew I wanted an agritourismo that had a restaurant (because we knew those driving would want a drink at dinner and a rest after driving/site seeing during the day), a pool, a view, a cancellation policy (we all have older parents). and proximity to a charming town. When I found Il Segreto I knew I had found the perfect property. We booked and it was seamless from that point forward. The communication was excellent and their suggestions were perfect. Since we were 8 people we were required to choose the 1/2 board but would have done so anyway. We would highly recommend doing so. The property is so well maintained with the most beautiful flowers and views. The rooms are delightful with such comfortable beds and amenities. Large bathrooms and bedrooms but especially so for Italy. The pool is cool in May but we still went in. It also was so nice to relax beside it as well. The bar for cocktails was so much fun we made 5 pm cocktail hour each night before dinner. We had many other guests join us each night. The staff could not have been nicer or gone out of their way for us. Nothing was too much to ask and every little thing was done with a spirit of generosity and hospitality. How refreshing! We took a cooking class with Andrea and it was our most favorite day in Tuscany. Not only did we make wonderful food but we had the best time doing it. We laughed and joked and drank delicious wine. He was a terrific teacher but also such a nice person. We hope he comes to visit us in the future! We so enjoyed our breakfast and dinners. We were so lucky with the weather so most of our meals were served Al fresco overlooking San Gimignano. What could be better? The setting looked like a movie set. The food was so delicious. Each meal was better than the last. So beautifully presented and served. With 3 vegetarians in our group of 8 we were pleased with the options each night. Very well thought out meals. For our non vegetarians -they really enjoyed their florentine steak and meats each night. Most foods are sourced very close by so it all was so fresh. You can see the olive trees and vineyards for the oil and wines. Kudos to the Chef and staff! We walked the long way into San Gimignano one day and recommend doing this. It was such a pretty walk. Easy to get to other sites such as Siena, Florence, Volterra, and even Pisa for day trips by car. We wholeheartedly recommend a stay here. You will love it.

The service from the Owners Diego and Pedro as well as their entire team is just outstanding. Everyone is friendly, available and always eager to help. The room, the outdoor areas, the al fresco dining room, the pool, the grounds, everything is beautifully kept and everything feels natural and intentional. The breakfast buffet is plentiful with homemade treats highlighting fresh local produce; all the meals we had were delicious as well creative also featuring fresh and local produce. We also greatly appreciated their daily vegetarian option. Helena, the yoga instructor was great; gentle, patient and just very nice and we loved our early morning yoga sessions in the beautiful garden overlooking the valley and San Gimignano. Thank you for the incredible vacation; we can t wait to come back.
