⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem in Siquijor – The Perfect Balance of Serenity and Luxury
Our stay at Coco Sunset Resort was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled along a stunning beachfront lined with swaying coconut trees and breathtaking ocean views, the resort offered exactly what we were looking for: peace, privacy, and a more intimate atmosphere away from the crowds.
Even though we experienced a few episodes of strong winds and rain during our stay, it did little to dampen the experience. In fact, there was something incredibly relaxing about retreating to our room after a storm, soaking in a nice warm bath, and listening to the sounds of nature outside. The only thing that could have made it even more indulgent would have been the addition of a few bubble bath bombs in the toiletry basket—a small touch that would have elevated the experience even further.
One of the biggest advantages of staying at Coco Sunset was enjoying the tranquillity of a boutique resort while still having full access to the facilities of the main Coco Grove Resort. The complimentary tuk-tuk service made transfers effortless, allowing us to visit the main resort whenever we pleased.
Our booking included complimentary breakfast for two each morning, which was a wonderful start to every day. The facilities were excellent, featuring a well-equipped gym and yoga studio, a relaxing spa and massage room, and access to three beautiful swimming pools surrounded by lush tropical gardens.
What we loved most was having the best of both worlds. When we wanted a livelier atmosphere, we headed over to Coco Grove Resort to enjoy the beachfront BBQ party, live entertainment, and the spectacular fire dancing performances (if the weather permits). Then, when we were ready to escape the crowds, we could return to the peaceful surroundings of Coco Sunset. The following evening, we enjoyed a much more intimate and romantic dinner at Sunset Restaurant, where the ambience, attentive service, and ocean views created a completely different but equally memorable experience.
The setting itself is stunning—lush greenery, pristine beachfront scenery, beautifully maintained grounds, and countless picture-perfect corners. Whether we were watching the sunset through the palm trees, relaxing by the pool, enjoying breakfast with a sea view, or simply taking in the peaceful atmosphere from our balcony, every moment felt special.
For travellers seeking the facilities and entertainment of a larger resort without sacrificing peace, privacy, and exclusivity, Coco Sunset Resort is the perfect choice. It offers a unique blend of relaxation and adventure, making it one of the most memorable stays we’ve had.
