"This establishment is located securely and close to shopping centres. Beautiful setting and garden spaces.
The hosts were exceptional and very welcoming.
The room and bathroom was clean and dust free.
My only suggestion would be to offer a stand alone fan in the room as it was quite hot as the AC wasn't working.
Other than that, I highly recommend Tuscan Rose."
"The hotel was located in a central location. Its near a big shopping.
The room was clean and thoroughly clean daily.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
When staying there, have dinner at Aurum at least once. It's a restaurant with good food great ambience and service."
"For the price of the hotel, we cannot demand too much.
It's a good balance for price/value ratio.
We had some problems at check in, but the duty manager solved the issue in a very good and patient manner.
Thank you. "

"The hotel is located in a relatively safe area in Johannesburg. The facilities are very new and the food is delicious. I especially like their croissants, which are very delicious. I will stay here again next time I go."

"I have stayed at the Quatermain before, and I am happy to say that the whole experience was once again just lovely! I had arrived VERY early on my check-in day and the staff made sure that I had a room well before the scheduled check-in time AND they upgraded me too!
The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and all round just a delight!! Even with the ongoing challenges that loadshedding (scheduled power outtages) brings to the smooth operation of any business.
The gardens are immaculate and tranquil, and it is unbelievable to think you are in the middle of everything with the peace and quiet that pervades.
The little bistro / restaurant's menu is thankfully limited, as it means that the quality can be assured and anything that is made tastes deliciously homemade. The evening buffet is very good value for money!
Just a small note that due to loadshedding, sometimes the email/booking system gives some issues - so don't forget to just follow up once booked :)"
"Always a pleasure staying here
Great hotel with excellent customer service
Perfect to catch a Gautrain that’s a stone throw away
Great buffet breakfasts and space for meeting
Love the gym
Two steps to Sandton City shopping centre.
Rooms are great
Single or couple travelers - greatly recommend for them
Cheers to all the stuff working there
Retuning always"
"Security is good.
The room was fine too.
The service is also very good.
Book a little in advance, Ctrip's orders are transferred here a little longer than other hotels. Best to order a day in advance."
"Well kept, clean with friendly stuff. The place is well situated within Sandton, not surrounded by noise yet easy to access other parts of the city. I highly recommend it for short and long term stays."

Great
RRyun KiatI recently stayed for a couple of nights, and overall, it was an average experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was friendly, which I appreciated. However, the room itself could have been a bit more updated. While it was clean, the furnishings seemed a little worn, and the bathroom, although functional, had some minor issues like a leaky faucet.
The bed was comfortable enough, but I did find it a bit harder than I prefer. The hotel amenities were standard—there was a gym and a small pool, though I didn't have time to use either. The Wi-Fi worked fine, and I didn't encounter any issues with the air conditioning or heating during my stay.
One thing that stood out was the location. It was pretty convenient for my needs, close to a few restaurants and shops, though not overly special. I was hoping for a bit more from the hotel's restaurant, as the menu was somewhat limited and the food was just okay.
In short, it wasn’t a bad stay, but it didn’t blow me away either. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep without expecting anything extraordinary, this hotel will do the job.
GGuest UserFriends booked five rooms together, but one trash can was not emptied. The exterior windows of the two stores were being repaired from 2 to 5 p.m., and workers kept kicking and kicking the windows, making clinking sounds. I complained to the front desk manager, but there was no formal reply. In fact, repairs to individual rooms can be completely avoided. After traveling continuously for several days, it is impossible to take a high-quality nap.
XXiaoxiucaiyaFor business trips, the hotel is okay, but the price has increased so much that it can't be dealt with at all, probably because it has something to do with the meeting.
TTrapped in travelThis is my second time staying that the Maslow hotel and once again I am very pleased with the service I have received from the staff and I was very impressed with the view I had from my room this time. Definitely going to be a regular stop when I fly to Johannesburg.
The centrality of the hotel makes it a perfect stopover for people flying in from other countries because everything you could need is within walking distance and the area is very safe for those who are not familiar with South Africa.
JJaikalaHotel is rated at 5star but the amenities are quite average. The standard king size room is smaller than I have experience in some other hotels if that range. You do not find water glasses in the room. Room service is very slow and sometimes your call will just keep transferring between room service and reception if you needed something. If you ordered food in your room, you have to make payment immediately. It does not amount up to check out. There is only one restaurant, one cafe in the hotel. You can walk up to nearest restaurant for your food that is 800m away.Pool is there but you have to carry your own towel. The day we arrived, there was a birthday party around the pool with loud music. We avoided going to pool side. Shoe shiner is in the lobby and if you get your shoes cleaned he needs to be paid as compliment and that complement begins with 100rand minimum. To me it’s an average hotel and ok for a couple of days. It had some conference going on so extra crowd was also in the lobby for the two days we stayed If you are looking for a luxery experience, better choose another hotel. This hotel is ok for not more than two days of stay.
GGuest User1. Great location and friendly staff.
2.
a. std room, no fridge or tea/coffee making.
b. room clean, quiet and serviced when req.
c. no room to keep suitcase open and limited hanging space.
d. mainly local TV programing except for ”BBC” channel which showed French TV, CNN appeared sometime late on day 2.
e. power load shedding meant TV had to be regularly reset by hotel maintenance.
f. breakfast choices reasonable (some supply issues)
g. went for dinner one night and around 80% of menu unavailable (supply issues again).
h. for reasons still unbeknown to me, prices were NOT displayed on the cafe menus.
Thirdly, if I was ever to return to JNB, I still may stay at Onomo, albeit in an upgraded room. Plenty of good eating nearby, particularly in the adjacent Nelson Mandela Square complex.
UUzanele_nI loved everything about this hotel. I got drinks menu on arrival which was served free of charge, wasn’t expecting that in South Africa🤪🤪
Check in was super quicknand smooth, beautiful room with proper amenities. The hotel is in a good location sorrounded by nature. The services was 10/10, with super friendly and helful staff. I was impressed by the breakfast options and the restaurant itself….stunning and aesthetically pleasing.
I didn’t like their cocktails menu🥺🥺 they don’t have classic ones. 90% of their cocktails are made with sminorf 18/18 which isn’t cool.
Overall, this is a great hotel and would definitely come back!
GGS7The team at this hotel genuinely cares about their guests. From the warm welcome to the helpful advice, they go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay.”
10. ”If you're looking for a home away from home, this hotel is it! The cozy atmosphere, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff make it the perfect retreat.
UUsman MoosaWonderful rooms, clean, everything perfect but they didn’t have water.. no water at all in the washroom and shower. Receptionist literally told us to go to the next door building for a shower 😂. Anyways, Trip.com tried to mediate the issue, ultimately at the end of the day the night shift receptionist was kind enough to contact the franchise’s other hotel which was also within Sandton to give us a room there, so ended well, atleast they assisted.
The average price for hotels in Sandton is SAR 429 on weekdays, and SAR 430 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
