Stated there 30 years. It was perfect for my entire (26 people) family. But. This hotel is gone! GONE!!! Nothing left since the hurricane!! Can’t believe it’s still in this site! Not a brick. Just weeds on the sand. You need to update your site.

Great location on the beach many amenities and amazing sunsets, COULD HAVE USED A FEW MORE CHAIRS AND UMBRELLAS ON THE BEACH! But great spot to get away and disconnect for a few days, staff very helpful for daily needs,

Although dated, the property is well kept. All amenities are steps from your door. Pool, beach, restaurant, pool bar. Enjoyable live music from 5-7pm. Paddle boards, kayaks, bicycles included in the price of your stay.

Always a great stay, location, staff, food. We checked out the day the island was evacuated for hurricane Ian. Staff was putting everything away, even apologized for making us leave. They are the best. Praying for everyone there.

The only negative thing I have to say about this property is the room bathroom. The Room Bathroom is very, very small. You cant open the shower door without closing the bathroom door and you cant even turn around in the room if either off them are open. Two people can not be in the batroom at the same time unless one person is in the shower with the door closed, then you cant get out of the shower until the other person leaves and closes the door behind them. Other than that great value great location very clean pool. If you fly in they also offer beach umbrella and 2 chair rental for $20 +tax per day. The best deal I found was booking directly with the property 3 days 1 free.

We have been staying at the West Wind since the 80's. They have maintained and improved the property along the way. It is a place to stay where one can forget the world outside and chill.It is a prime location.
