Villa Rosa Inn

Für alle, die beabsichtigen dieses Hotel zu buchen folgender Hinweis: Wir mussten bei Ankunft ca.30 USD pro Nacht zusätzlich zum gebuchten Preis bezahlen. Eine Praxis,die wir so noch nicht erlebt haben. Freundlicherweise hat uns Trip verbunden allerdings mit einigem Aufwand die Gebühr in Form von coins erstattet. Von einem Frühstück kann man quasi nicht sprechen. Kein Toast,keine Eierspeisen, kein Aufscnitt, keine Marmelade. Empfehlung: woanders buchen

The WORST service, ever. I travel all over the country, never have had to wait more than 10 minutes to speak to a receptionist and register. Lobby full guests waiting to sign in, all were angry because we had to wait about an hour to speak to someone at front desk, EMPTY reception. Check in was 3pm by 5pm, my room was CANCELLED RIGHT ON MY FACE because I asked for another with shower, and not a jacuzzi tub that I could not climb IN, I ask for the manager and was told that he or she was not available till evening. After a nasty row, I was given another room. Then I had to ask for toilet paper and towels. While I was waiting for my room, Reception person was arguing and shouting with guest who had small TIRED children who had reserved 2 rooms double occupancy and was pre-paid. Guest was told that only one with double bed was available, because second room had been cancelled and was given to another guest. Lobby crowed with guests witnesses to poor behavior from hotel's staff. Several guest were contacting "Social Media".

I had high hopes for the Villa Rosa Inn, but my stay was a major disappointment. The room quality was unacceptable—dirty, poorly maintained, and filled with broken fixtures. The windows didn’t close properly, the outlets were unreliable, and the bed was uncomfortable, slanting to one side. The pillows were lumpy beyond belief. The ceiling fan seemed to be attached incorrectly and felt as if it would come loose at any moment, so I had to leave it off for safety. The bathroom was a disaster. The shower was over-pressured, making it uncomfortable to use, and the shower curtain was completely ineffective, allowing water to overspray the tub and create a hazardous mess on the floor. I had to use extra towels just to prevent slipping! Breakfast? Took one look and decided not to even bother. There was no soap or shampoo upon arrival, and I had to go to the lobby to find the staff, who seemed put out by my request. To make matters even worse, I was locked out of my room because the electronic lock failed, and the staff couldn’t find the key to the backup keyed lock on the rear patio door. They didn’t offer a replacement room—I had to request it myself. When they finally approved the room change, there was no one on-site who could make a new key card, leaving me stranded and unable to access my new room until someone could figure it out. Because I had to change rooms due to the lock being broken, the room I received was a downgrade. I was not offered any price adjustment or compensation of any kind. The staff was ambivalent and indifferent, offering no real assistance. The only staff member I had more than one encounter with asked me each time which hotel I was staying in, as they apparently manage two other adjacent properties. They also asked if I was checking in or checking out, despite my repeated presence there. The only reason I even knew this person was a staff member was that they were behind the front desk—they had no identifying clothing or name tags, and none of the staff did. To make matters worse, there was no management on site, leaving me with no qualified staff to handle an issue that had to be resolved over the phone. The rooms, halls, lobby, and patio were filled with mismatched, oversized furniture, leaving most spaces claustrophobic. While mismatched furniture can be quaint for a boutique hotel, this felt haphazard at best. If you took time to look around the patio areas, you’d find broken and unused items piled up in the corners, adding to the overall feeling of neglect. The wine and cheese offered in the evening was just as bad as the breakfast—sad and disappointing. Instead of a charming touch, it only highlighted the lack of quality and care throughout the property. The only redeeming factor was the proximity to the beach, but honestly, that’s not enough to justify staying here. If you’re considering this place, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. You’ll thank me later!
