Melia Ibiza - Adults Only

Somos clientes habituales de la cadena Meliá y siempre que podemos elegimos la opción Meliá en nuestros viajes, tanto personales como por trabajo. Hemos podido disfrutar de unos días de descanso en el Level y les felicitamos por el servicio fantástico y por las excelentes instalaciones que están al nivel de la categoría “lujo” que tanto cuidan y que tanto agradecemos sus clientes. El staff, sinceramente, es de lo mejor de la cadena Meliá. Entre otros, los que nos han tratado con esmero son: en la recepción, Mikel en el check in, Jorge Guerrero en el check out y Paula Martorell, Patricia Guasch y Sergio, durante la estancia, resolviendo todos ellos cualquier duda y aportando soluciones. Todos ellos y el resto del equipo, con una sonrisa y profesionalidad por las que merecen ser felicitados. Así mismo, en restauración destacamos a Cristina Fernández, pendiente de cada mesa para que no faltara de nada, junto con los apoyos de Stefano, Álex y Dani, así como Víctor Castillo en atención a los clientes, imagen perfecta todos ellos de Meliá. Desayuno variado y con bastantes productos propios de la tierra. La sobrasada y el jamón ibérico, de primera, por ejemplo. No dejéis de probar los “Huevos benedictine”. Asimismo, cometamos la atención y el cuidado de los detalles en la azotea y el servicio de piscina con Carlos y Juan e incluso Brandon. Muy bien el servicio de toallas que nunca faltan y la limpieza de todo el complejo. Hacemos extensiva la felicitación al director del hotel, Matías Martorell que ha sabido lograr junto con su equipo tan bien elegido que Meliá Ibiza sea uno de los puntos más atractivos y confortables de la cadena Meliá, cuidando esos pequeños detalles que marcan la diferencia. Destacamos dentro del Level el servicio de snacks con excelentes tapas, bebidas y cócteles. Así como el privilegio de las vistas del mar en primera línea y de los pinares. Todo un lujo. Esperamos volver muy pronto.

The Melia Ibiza is situated in a beautiful spot in Santa Eulalia, and is only a short 10 minute walk into the town. The hotel is clean, and the reception area is beautiful; it’s modern decoration with a lovely, laid-back Ibizan vibe. When we booked our holiday we upgraded to the Level option, which offers a slightly bigger room, drinks and snacks throughout the day and access to the rooftop pool and lounge area. We were very impressed with the drinks and snacks on offer, however we only used the rooftop pool once as there seemed to be swarms of midges/flying ants which were nipping at you - it was very uncomfortable. In addition, the drinks were not included at the rooftop pool and you had to pay separately for them, which seemed to us to be a little unreasonable that it wasn’t included. There is a separate check in area for Level customers and on arrival the receptionist immediately asked us if we wanted to see a bigger room and if we were interested in a further upgrade. This felt poorly timed and inappropriate when we had only just arrived. It does feel like there was a strong pursuit to ‘upsell’ to us throughout our stay. The main pool area is nice, although we did find across the weekend that it got a lot busier and there weren’t enough sunbeds. We also found a number of the sunbeds to be broken/in need of replacement. We had breakfast included and there was plenty of choice each day. Our room was a good size and housekeeping was provided each day. The only frustrating thing was that given the temperatures were well into the 30’s during our stay we were provided with 1 small bottle of water, despite there being 2 of us. It was also a regular occurrence for the lifts to not be working. I would have expected for what we paid and for the high level of service promised at this hotel for our experience at Melia to be better.

We recently stayed at this beautifully maintained hotel, which enjoys a peaceful location just a short walk from the town center — ideal for exploring the area on foot. We paid a little extra for a 'junior suite', which was surprisingly compact for its designation, though the sea view was certainly a highlight and added to the experience. The sofa was a 'sofa bed' so the room can accommodate for 4 adults if needed. Breakfast was excellent: a generous and varied selection, with options to suit virtually every palate. The staff were attentive and service was smooth. However, a few things did detract from our overall enjoyment. The balcony chairs were uncomfortable, narrow, deck-chair style seats. We raised this with staff and were provided with better replacements. But it’s something to be aware of if, like us, you enjoy relaxing on the balcony. A major drawback was the pricing of food and drinks: exorbitant! On-site options were ridiculously expensive — for example, a basic "club sandwich" was priced at €22 (see photo). This seems excessive, even by hotel resort standards and apart from breakfast, we made a point of eating out. Overall: We did enjoy our stay thanks to the setting, cleanliness, and breakfast quality. But the room size, balcony comfort, and excessive pricing mean we’re unlikely to return.

Beautiful hotel. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Upgraded to the Level which we felt was worth the additional cost. Not too busy and able to get a sunbed easily, the roof top pool opens at 11am which meant a leisurely start to the day. Easy to walk down to the Marina in the evening.

After a few minor teething issues that the staff dealt with extremely professionally, we enjoyed 2 separate stays in the hotel over a 2 week period (went to Formentera in the middle which we highly recommend). The setting is superb in a wonderful cove about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Santa Eulària. The accommodation, staff and general facilities were excellent. We have already booked again for this time next year!! Can’t say more than that!!
