Hotel Villa Rinascimento

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura trovata all’ultimo momento perché partiti senza programmare nulla in particolare. Siamo rimasti contenti della posizione (a pochi km da Lucca e Pisa) e dalla gentilezza del personale, sia Andrei che ci ha peraltro consigliato un ristorante molto carino e sopratutto ottimo per la qualità del cibo (Osteria dei Neni a Lucca) sia il personale della mattina che ci ha coccolato per la colazione. Forse l’unica nota negativa son le camere al secondo piano con una rampa di scale molto alta e che necessita di fiato e pazienza sopratutto se si ha una valigia di medie dimensioni perché i gradini sono molto ripidi.

We stayed in Villa Rinascimento for 4 days, it was our third visit. The house is gorgeous, a very old building and the loggia is like something out of Romeo and Juliet - you can look out at the beautiful landscape and sit and read and relax. Lucca is stunning and only a 15 min drive from the hotel but it feels like being in the middle of the countryside - calm and pretty and for example, you can do a 3 -4 hour walk into the hillside and woods from the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. Bedroom very clean. There is a swimming pool that opens later in the season. No complaints at all and would highly recommend for couples and for families!

camere sporche,piene di muffa ,capelli e peli all’interno della stanza ,comici e animali vari nel bagno ,cibo freddo e scadente. Federe dei cuscini sporchi di sangue e macchie gialle ,personale scarso e poco esperto.Giornata e nottata da dimenticare

Perfect choice This place was perfect for what we were looking for, situated in the village of Santa Maria del Guidice. It was the perfect setting to experience the real Italy but so close to both Pisa and the outstanding beautiful Lucca which is a must visit. The hotel itself is situated at the top of the village perfectly placed for stunning views of the Tuscany rolling hills from both the breakfast/dining terrace and the infinity pool. We had a superior double room which was large and spacious and the decor was in keeping with the renaissance building. Probably not to everyone's taste but exactly what we were looking for, we didn't want to be in a corporate hotel that could have been anywhere in the world. We loved the quirky safe in the stone wall. The bed was great and the shower very powerful, towels and toiletries were changed and stocked each day, the shower gels etc were really nice! Breakfast was your typical continental, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit etc along with various sweet treats as well and no complaints at all . We only had lunch twice at the hotel but it was good portions and very nice. If was a limited menu with Paninis, flat breads and a different pasta each day but definitely value for money. We only ate dinner once , the food was good but unfortunately the service let us down a bit on the night, we put this down to the large wedding also being catered for. Overall a fantastic stay.special mention for Daria , she was so helpful and always smiling!

siamo stati in questa struttura 2 notti, abbiamo soggiornato nella struttura adiacente al corpo centrale, posto silenzioso peccato che non tutti gli ospiti la notte parlavano a bassa voce..camera un po' datata e non molto pulita. presente angolo cottura,molto utile. camera un po freddina, c erano 2 coperte nell armadio ma non erano molto pulite e disinfettate. bagno ristrutturato e funzionale, presente phon, kit di cortesia. colazione ricca, sia dolce che salata. giardino intorno poco curato. posto auto gratuito. la strada per raggiungere hotel è stretta. hotel molto vicino a Lucca e Pisa.

unsere Erfahrung war leider nicht die Beste! Wir hatten hatten zwei Tage nur kaltes Duschwasser auf unserem Zimmer! wir wurden leider nicht bei Ankunft darüber informiert. Die Dame an der Rezeption machte einen genervten Eindruck, wenn wir nachgefragt haben. Ich habe eine Entschuldigung erwartet! Wir haben im Nebengebäude ein Zimmer gehabt, und es ist sehr sehr Hellhörig. Viele Gäste bleiben nur ein oder zwei Nächte. Die Lage ist schön, aber ohne Auto ist es bestimmt schwierig. Allerdings muss man den günstigen Preis bedenken Wir kommen nicht wieder
