Hotel Riu Funana - All Inclusive

El hotel muy bien ubicado y con un buffet muy bueno. La animacion y trabajadores muy serviciales. El hotel es algo viejo pero esta muy bien

Sejour du 28/04 au 6/05/2025 Hôtel extérieur et buffet excellent murs des chambres moisis et peinture qui tombe par terre en morceaux balcons inaccessibles à cause du nombre de moustiques agressifs belle plage mais souvent drapeau rouge beaucoup de vagues et fort courant je ne conseille pas cet hôtel

Mijn verblijf bij Riu Funana voldeed volledig aan mijn verwachtingen. Het hotel is keurig verzorgd, personeel is uitermate vriendelijk. Nog geen boos gezicht gezien van het personeel.

Riu Funana is a very well structured and organized resort. A lot of interesting activities, excellent personnel and an above average experience. If I might suggest two areas to improve: first the variety of the restaurant food, one week of more or less the same food is a bit heavy. Better to do something less and vary more during the days. Second the mosquito issue: mosquitos are not full year here but considering the natural reservation close by for turtles it is easy to have mosquitoes coming from stagnant water there, the resort needs to arm for this because during open air dinners or activities it is close to a nightmare at times. Last point some renovation in rooms is needed like the hair dryer not working.

Great hotel, staff very good , food excellent. Just needs more of an area for kids sports football etc.

We’ll never been to this island before usually go to Boa Vista I had read a lot of reviews for this hotel and was a bit worried about going here well we arrived to a friendly welcome drink just what was needed after our journey. Got to our room I think that it could do with a bit of a make over but was very clean I was using the Rui app for some of the services that are available like booking the restaurants and any extras from house keeping it was fine. I had read a lot about not being able to make a meal together well I don’t know who them people are breakfast was great for us plenty of choices lunchtime was just as good and the choice at night was just as good with Santa Maria close and able to walk to there was plenty to do if you wanted to venture out with a lovely beach next to the pier the kids loved a dip in the sea. Entertainment was fine we did go a couple of times to the night time shows but loved the neon party on Friday face painting for everyone who wanted it or not fantastic energy from all the staff I don’t know how they keep it going. I think that I will look at going there again as you can go out and see lots of the island we did have a day out to go to the sights all 8 of us and had a great day and I think there is still lots to see any way had a great time
