Great hotel, with amazing food and drinks. Room is great with fantastic bathroom and sea view with hot tube well worth it. The staff make the hotel with max well who really looks after us along with the entertainment team Azarias, Christiano, Ruben eidilene , leandra maiara leston Ivan lentino. The only thing is the mosquitoes, so need lots of crème and sprays.

Tenemos experiencia en varios Meliá en diferentes partes del mundo y éste desgraciadamente no está al nivel ni de la cadena Meliá y ni mucho menos de una categoría de 5 estrellas. Lo mejor la atención de Sindney en recepción Level y de Kevin en el bar de la piscina Level. A quien lea los comentarios les recomendaría que se plantearan el motivo de que la mayoría de los comentarios positivos sean con respecto al personal…. El resto es inaceptable. La zona de piscina Level también está bastante bien y la no masificación del hotel facilita la estancia. Tuvimos infinidad de incidencias. La sensación resumida es el engaño continuo sin explicación coherente: la habitación reservada con antelación no estaba disponible porque se la habían dado a otros huéspedes, el servicio de habitaciones 24 horas no existe, la zona de tumbonas no la controlan por lo que se ocupa por huéspedes de otros hoteles de la cadena que pueden ir con niños siendo este solo para adultos, retiran las toallas sucias y no reponen hasta que se reclaman, en ocasiones estando horas sin toallas en la habitación, y así infinidad de incidencias…. La restauración inaceptable, está muy enfocado al uso del buffet con una calidad pésima, producto congelado y muchas veces mal cocinado. Poca variedad y en muchas ocasiones con productos no disponibles porque se acaban, entendemos que por falta de planificación. En mi opinión y en comparación a otros Melia en esta ocasión estamos en una categoría de 3 estrellas en muchos aspectos. Me atrevería a decir que falta experiencia, organización y planificación y mucho camino por recorrer para conseguir llegar al nivel teóricamente ofrecido.

Firstly, I have to say that we read so many negative reviews on Trip advisor about the Meliá Llana that we almost regretted booking! However, we have just returned from a week at this amazing place and can honestly say we will have no hesitation in returning. The whole experience was fantastic. We had a deluxe double room and it’s huge, the bed is bigger than our first house and it was immaculately clean. The air conditioning worked a dream and the mini fridge kept continuously stocked with bottled drinks. The restaurant that was criticised in some reviews for being poor quality offered a great range of salads, pastas, fish and meat dishes and the desserts were incredible. Having stayed in the Caribbean at five star hotels costing five times as much, the food was of an equivalent standard. The staff will bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasant as possible and always had a smile. I’m glad we didn’t upgrade to the “Level” as we found everything we needed and more. As for negatives, we struggle to come up with anything to offer a balanced review apart from a slightly undercooked burger one lunchtime! Well done to all of the staff you work so hard in every area and deserve praise, look forward to seeing you again for sure.

We loved our stay at the Meliá Llana. We stayed at the end of August for 7 nights all inclusive. It was our first time to Sal and we cannot wait to come back. The transfer from the airport and check in was quick and easy. We stayed in an ocean view room which was really spacious and well equipped with storage space, TV, balcony, hair dryer - everything you would expect. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was quite firm but huge and we both slept really well. The mini fridge was re-stocked every two days and we felt we had plenty of drinks to keep us going. We decided we would make a decision about upgrading to the Level Up / VIP package on arrival, however, we really did not feel the need to. There were two pools available to us and both had plenty of sun loungers and no real queues for the bar. The pool next to the Safira bar is a bit more lively, as it hosts the aquagym and day time activities with the animation team but it was great for people watching!!! The beach was literally 30 seconds from our room and there is a short promenade in each direction to walk along past the other hotels, as well as two jetties out either side of the bikini beach bar. We were lucky enough to see a turtle swimming whilst out walking one morning which was amazing! We walked along the front outside the hotels every day. I’ve previously read that some people have said that they are concerned about security and being hassled. This was not our experience at all - at no point did I feel unsafe and we were asked once if we wanted to buy something on the beach, but as we had no cash with us, we said no and that was the end of it. We also walked to the nearby botanical gardens, which we would definitely recommend. It cost 5 euros per person but was a great way to pass an hour or so, with animals and plants to see. There were two minor negatives to our stay but in no way have they put us off. Firstly our shower wasn’t great - it was always freezing (although on some days that was exactly what was needed) and didn’t drain very well - so wasn’t ideal when we were getting showered and ready for the evening. Secondly, we ate at the Italian Restaurant at the TUI hotel next door (one visit included in our stay). We booked well in advance but the person who had taken our booking had booked it under the wrong room number and when we arrived to eat, the staff at the TUI hotel were not particularly helpful and just said « no ». After explaining more than once that it must clearly be a mistake, we were eventually led to a table, service was a little slow, however the food at the time was lovely. Unfortunately we were both a little unwell the next day. Nevertheless, the best thing about this hotel is the staff, from the animation team, to the reception staff, bar staff, restaurant staff, maintenance team to the cleaners - they are all so polite and friendly. Always smiling and dancing! The animation team do not stop and are a lot of fun and Nelson, Kevin and Er
