Hotel Crusch Alba Sta Maria

The staff greeted us upon arrival and informed us of all the facilities. We were baffled by the interior design; it was like walking around a museum and always being surprised by what is behind the next door! Our room was very cosy with a balcony facing the mountains. We were big fans of the whirlpool, which we had to ourselves for 1½ hours and another time with very few people in it. They also have a sauna and a steam room. The restaurant at the hotel was good, with big portions. They also have a spiele-raum with a pool table, ping-pong, table tennis and darts, great evening activities. Breakfast was fantastic, with food for everyone's taste (bread, cereals, yoghurt, fruits, cheese, meats, jams, eggs, cake; I recommend the bündner nusstorte) and loads of homemade products. The beverages were also very nice (coffee, tea, warm/cold chocolate milk, and a variety of juice). The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, very accommodating to our needs and good on tips for hiking etc. You can feel their passion about their family hotel! The town itself is also very beautiful to explore! Would 100% recommend staying at this hotel, this will not be our last visit! In summation: We were impressed!
