We arrived at 10.45 at night went out for food came back went to bed, next morning after going for a walk we were locked out of our room because there had been a noise complaint made against us we had only just arrived the previous night and hadn’t made any noise other than opening and closing the door to go out and in again. Although I will say the were paper thin we could hear everything from next door but to lock us out of our room was ridiculous. The food area was open and you couldn’t enjoy the food because there were pigeons and sparrows sitting on the tables or flying around above you. Pool area small some days couldn’t sit out as no space to sit

Arrived last Sunday for a week's stay. We were all inclusive for the week. Lovely hotel. Room was really spacious. Lovely big balcony. Pool area was really lovely, liked the idea of the grass around the pool so ot was slippy. The food was lovely and a lot of different choices. Rooms were cleaned every 2nd day which was fine. The staff were so lovely. No complaints from any of us and I will definitely be visiting again! 10/10

Great place

Having seen numerous glowing reviews and faced with inflated half-term prices, we decided to book, hoping for a memorable all-inclusive experience. Sadly, our stay fell short of expectations. The "all-inclusive" offering felt misleading. For children's ice cream, only one basic option was available, with no ice lollies at all. Surprisingly, even items like Haribo ice lollies and chicken nuggets during snack times incurred extra charges, while burgers and chips were included. Popcorn was listed, but the machine was reportedly out of order, suggesting a lack of effort to provide it. We were also concerned when a visibly unwell barmaid with nose piercings served us, blowing and wiping her nose in our faces! The bar service was painfully slow with long queues constantly, and also one functioning coffee machine. Contrary to previous reviews, access to the facilities, food, and drinks at the sister hotel across the road was not permitted, which was disappointing. More seriously, one evening I ate undercooked grilled turkey, which resulted in food poisoning. Finally, for anyone with a peanut allergy, stay far AWAY from the desserts (apart from ice cream) as the staff could not confirm if they had peanuts or not. On a positive note, the entertainment team, Saul and Maria, were truly outstanding. Their enthusiasm and engaging activities, from pizza making to t-shirt painting, made the holiday extra special for our children. The mini disco and general evening entertainment were also excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. Our room was clean, and the housekeeping staff were pleasant, with the alternate-day cleaning schedule being perfectly acceptable. Additionally, the gaming machines near reception provided unexpected fun, and our children were thrilled to win some lovely prizes, including an Anna doll and a Baby Shark toy.

We stayed here for 4nights 12th April. We arrived around 7:30pm Greeted by a lovely lady on reception,very friendly and helpful her name was Alison I think! We stayed here back in October 2023 and throughly enjoyed it then hence why we returned again. Although we couldn't use the facilities across the road at jutlandia this time like we could when we came in October but that was fine. All staff lovely and friendly. The kids entertainers Saul and Maria were fab with all the children there. Worked really hard Evening shows were fine Can't comment on food as we was self catering. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. And Eroski 10mins walk away Maids were lovely did our room every other day which was fine for us nothing was too much trouble when asked for anything. Just left rubbish bag outside room every morning and they collected it. We stayed in a studio appartment and it was great for what we needed. Great shower! Loved that pool area was all grass and they fenced round the pool off on a night!great idea! All round great time and would definitely in fact we will be back. The only thing I'd say is that plazamar probably only suits up to age off 11. Our boy is 13 and think he would have enjoyed it more at jutlandia as pools are alot bigger. But it's not a negative thing,he still enjoyed it. Thanks again and see you soon.:-)
