Hotel Santa Susanna Resort

Rooms are very nice and clean stuff is very helpful kind this is our second time and stay in this hotel and we are very very very happy. We will definitely come back next year. Stay in this hotel it’s kind of tradition in our family Rabia the lady from the kitchen amazing woman she is star In the mornings when they are not good, she gonna make you good morning and good day Animator Maria, my kid enjoy the cross with her every single night Karim manager from the bar amazing fella he is making some nice cocktails I gonna miss his cocktails, definitely Hassan and the other guy from the reception amazing people if you are struggling and you don’t know where to go to visit something so you can ask them they’re gonna suggest you a good good trips. We went to cathedral for only 36€ for 3 of us there and back There was more than happy about that Our rooms was clean at every single day and refilled with the shampoo and shower gel and fresh towels They helped me to make for my husband surprise for his birthday And I’m so thankful to those guys Thank you, Santa Susanna and see you next year

Don't even bother! To start, the rooms are tiny and and very old looking, the whole resort is like being in a Swiss Alps hut it's such a strange vibe. The staff are questionable, when we were here there were families having issues with staff being "odd" towards their kids, so weird! This resort is like chav central, if you wanna be kept awake alll night by kids running around and knocking on your doors then book it, if you wanna be engulfed in cig smoke constantly, book it! If you don't wanna chill by the pool, but instead watch drunk people argue and fight all day, book it!! You get the jist, it's not very great :)

Booked as a cheap last minute holiday; honest review. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit sceptical of booking; there was bad reviews about rowdiness, the cleanliness and the “glasses”. Having arrived we checked in, paid the tourist tax and was given the room key. Room had two two single beds pushed together a balcony over looking the pool and a flat screen tv. Built in wardrobe with extra blankets, shower over the bath, sink, mirror, toilet and bidet. Toilet flush was broken so told reception as we went for some food (this was fixed in the hour we ate and had a few drinks). Down two flights of stairs and entered the food hall, plenty of food, fresh fruit, salads, chips, “dish of the day” etc. honestly food was amazing! Staff cannot do enough for you! Fast clearing away empty plates and tables. They work hard and always smiling. The same goes for the bar staff; always happy, smiling, joking. The cleaners don’t stop, security on site (looked like just the one) but this guy and the night manager didn’t take no messing and any trouble was dealt with swiftly. Pool area was lovely, clean, plenty of loungers. And loads of kids running about (nice to see actually). Majority of guests were English and there to have a drink and some family time. Could get a bit rowdy but I never saw anything that caused any alarm. There’s a mini bus that is run by the hotel and the lady who drives is crazy (in a good way) and she is lovely, it’s a 2 min ride on the bus into “town” always asked if it was beach, shopping, train station and she will drop you off. I believe the mini bus is every 15 mins (but double check at reception). The hotel is lovely, clean but a little dated. But you’re on holiday; you’re not there to look at the walls. Drinks tokens are a thing too! €1 pp to be paid same time as checkin along side Tourist Tax, get your token, go to bar, order your drink, give your token, take you “glass” back, swap for another, end of the night take your “glass” back, get your token back. They’re like little plastic picnic glasses, not really an issue (others have marked this as a negative) but always quick at the bar. Ice cream you have to pay for, tip tops free (All inclusive) burgers not beef note like ham burgers but oh my gosh! Lovely :) Hot dogs snacks available at pool bar. Out of 5? Hotel - 4/5 Staff -5/5 Food 4/5 Breakfast (not really for me) 2/5 Rooms 4/5 Overall holiday - 4.5/5 Go with an open mind, enjoy. Make memories! Would I go here again? 100% YES

We get we came for a cheap holiday but this isn’t normal for cheap! Rooms are some what clean. Nice showers only 1 socket per room and the food is also just mostly un edible. Great thing that there are nice restaurants along the coastline 10 minute walk away. The people who come here are just fat or road men and kids running around with no manners at all (just like their parents). The part what concerned me and my girlfriend was the staff. There was 4 great staff 2 behind the bar who always smiled and the man and lady behind reception who all looked spanish. The rest however was not, to start with 4 of the bar staff seem to find it like a game to make sexual comments to my girlfriend making her very uncomfortable (only when I am not present). We heard that one of them was caught taking pictures of children and we have seen personally with our own eyes one of the staff creepily staring through a window with a huge grin eyes fixated at a little boy for 5 minutes. The other 2 men who work in the reception are very rude not wanting to give us any information of places to eat outside of the hotel. One of the nights we sat outside of the hotel we spotted one of the staff whistling to a guest to come to the main road which we saw him sell a drug of some sort. When we noticed these things we thought we might just be the only one but then checked the recent reviews which showed a new 1 star most days we had been here. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS OR OTHER HALF HERE IT DOES NOT FEEL SAFE. I am not too sure what the law is like in spain with pedofiles but having this many in 1 spot is not acceptable. First holiday with my girlfriend and I’m sure this will stay the worst.

This was the worst holiday I’ve ever been on, I go on holiday a few times a year with my daughter and will normally go for the budget hotels but this has got to be by far the worst in terms of rude staff , none of the staff spoke to us or said hello. They acted like they didn’t want us there. The bar staff were pushy. The food was repetitive and cold. The pool area was dirty. Very noisy in the corridor outside the rooms with children running around screaming until all hours. Overall a really unpleasant stay.

Visited this hotel last week ,as a budget hotel didn't expect it to be as bad as it was ,food was awful,restaurant not clean food was cold and very seldom there was cutlery,there was rats running around the kids pool area "people leaving food under there chairs didn't help " this hotel is more for adults getting drunk falling about and cursing at the top of their voices ..never will I return ..
