Hotel Montemar Maritim

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia in questo hotel a luglio. La stanza ampia e pulitissima. Il ristorante offre cibo vario e di buona qualità. Lo staff è fantastico e super ospitale, specialmente Linda e Jaqueline. Sono molto gentili e professionali.

La comida me gusto mucho, de los mejores hoteles que he estado por su comida. En este hotel tienen un buen sistema de las tumbonas en la piscina, no permiten que las reserven , dejen las toallas y se marchen, como pasa en otros hoteles, que quien no va primera hora no tiene sitio y no estan.

Hotel is very clean, and food was very good lots of variety and show cooking with fresh made pizza and pasta every night, we had room 601 which had a lovely balcony with sunbeds and hot tub and a sea view it was well worth the extra ! Rooms clean daily and pool towels complimentary they have a 1 euro a day for sunbeds reservation which goes to a local children’s charity well worth it at busy periods ! They have entertainment which is supplied by the local team Lucas works particularly hard all day and night entertaining the kids ! But it’s normally stopped by 11.30 pm lovely holiday in the quieter part of Santa Susanna

This review is more of a 3.5 but I’m rounding up on the strength of their kids’ entertainment. By typical American prices, this place is a steal. I actually think it’s nicer than the pictures portray. Definitely pay for an ocean view however, or else you might forget you’re near the ocean. Lucas worked from 9:30 am to 11 pm every day running activities by the pool (yes with some breaks) with incredible energy. Dude clearly loves his job and even ran out to our taxi to say goodbye to our kids when we departed. His sidekick Floor was extremely welcoming and both of my kids loved them by the end. There were some wonderful people (Silvia and Linda) at the front desk, and Akhmed dba Jaime at the restaurant was incredible. However, this place nickles and dimes all day. A euro to save a daybed. A euro for a new towel. It just feels cheap and if I were them I’d just raise prices 10% and make people feel loved. The food is fine, with some intriguing specials - caviar one night, a leg of jamon another - but also some clearly reused food and plenty to skip. Be picky! I was particularly irritated by Leo the manager, who told me when we arrived that “we don’t have a kids club”—despite having written to me in April via email specifically that they DO have a kids club. Having a place to drop your kids for a few hours is essential for parental sanity and we design our vacations to only visit places that offer kids clubs. We were clearly misled and while I’m pretty sure Leo knows he was in the wrong, he didn’t do anything about it. I wouldn’t stay here again, but we had a fine time and it seemed like a good value with the Med across the street.

Dit jaar verbleven wij weer in dit geweldig hotel, van 11 juni tot 20 juni. Het personeel geweldig sommige receptionistes spreken Nederlands en dat is voor Nederlanders die niet zo goed een andere taal beheersen fijn., het eten is in buffetvorm overheerlijk en ontzettend veel keus voor ieder wat wils dus. De entertainment ook top. Helaas was het enige minpunt dat er dit keer weer de indische zeer luidruchtige dame weer de rust verstoorde zij is heel erg aanwezig. Deze dame komt hier al heel wat jaren met een hele grote groep dus er wordt heel wat getoleerd. Dit keer was zij alleen met haar man. Volgende keer als ik weer ga boeken ga ik informeren of deze dame ook in de periode dat ik op vakantie ga er ook is. Want dan ga ik in een andere periode boeken. Ik heb letterlijk 2 dagen van mijn rust kunnen genieten en dat dankzij deze luidruchtige zeer aanwezige dame
