We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Mathios for a week in April. The staff is amazing; so welcoming and caring. They took care of all our needs and had great advice of where to go and what to do during our stay. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and of course the drinks as well!! They definitely show love with food and drinks with a generous pour!

Just returned from a great holiday in Santorini. Our holiday was made extra special by the excellent and clean hotel but particularly from the help and advice we received from the hotel manager, Kostas. He made the whole experience of visiting the island a breeze from arranging car hire (a must) to recommending where to visit and the best times to visit to avoid the crowds that erupt from the cruise ships. A warm and friendly guy who put us at ease straight away. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The Village is BEAUTIFUL, clean and Kostas is the ultimate host. Loved the food, dancing, the bar. Rooms are clean and beautiful. Let Kostas take care of you, even in Athens and Paros. I feel we met a friend forever....would love to return!!!!

This is a lovely traditional greek hotel. Very clean and tidy. Spacious room. Most with pool view. The owner very knowledgable of the island and will advise of places to go and book excursions for you. Unfortunately we had a family bereavement so wasnt up to our usual socialising. Fresh cooked snacks and meals offered on site. They also sell their own wine. Lovely area, lovely beaches and ruins

We booked with the owner/manager for our entire 13 day trip in Greece to Athens and 2 islands. 5 days at this hotel in Santorini. Kostas showed excellent management of all our arrangements. Mathios was one of the best and the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in ever. Personall attentive and kind staff. The food service here exceeded expectations. So delicious. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the villas. The space was very relaxing and comfortable. The staff was so kind and very helpful. Breakfast on the patio was a favorite for me. I highly recommend the villas or the hotel. We spent 1 day at the hotel. Just as beautiful and friendly!

Stress free vacation! My daughter and I enjoyed a fabulous restful week prior to our 2 family members arrival for the second week. The hotel is spotless, rooms renovated, pool clean, and a decent breakfast. All our needs were fulfilled by Kostas through his travel agency in the hotel. He arranged car rental, catamaran trip and maps to sites. Highly recommend this family ran hotel!
