Em frente à baía de S.Martinho do Porto, encontra-se a antiga Casa do Capitão, agora chamada de Strorytellers Palace Hotel , lugar aprazível, renovado com conforto e bom gosto. Os quartos têm o nome de escritores, cama confortável e duche excelente. É um lugar com história e nós gostamos destes hotéis que têm um passado, como , por exemplo o Cesar Augustus em Capri ou também o Reid's Palace no Funchal, não esquecendo as pousadas que foram transformadas mas que deixámos de frequentar desde que foram compradas pelo Pestana cujo serviço é mau. Recomendo o Strorytellers Palace, não se arrependerão.

Hotel maravilhoso. Um verdadeiro “Home away from Home”. Tudo pensado para nos fazer sentir bem vindos. Rodeados de beleza, dentro e fora, com uma vista de mar lindíssima, comida excecional, serviço 5 estrelas e sobretudo o tempo passado a conversar com o Marco, um verdadeiro storyteller, com tantas histórias para partilhar. Mais do que um hotel, é um local para se pousar e não ver o tempo passar. Vamos voltar de certeza!

5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service, room, restaurant‼️‼️‼️‼️ I have stayed in much more expensive places, but never have I had such care and concern from the staff❣️Right at the beach, FABULOUS view, and I’ve never had a better fillet anywhere‼️ imagine a fillet so kinder you could practically cut it with a fort with a blueberry sauce over it that included some whole fresh blueberries❣️❣️❣️ and the shrimp risotto…OMG‼️‼️‼️ I stayed three nights and went back for Easter dinner‼️‼️‼️ The hotel itself that used to be a private mansion is absolutely gorgeous. Marco, the head chef is also the owner and his exquisite taste is not only in the kitchen, but in every detail and corner of the StoryTeller Palace❣️ The name say’s it all…❣️❣️❣️

Our stay at the Storytellers Palace was a real treat. The hotel is amazing and the staff are super helpful and friendly. We stayed in the F. Scott Fitzgerald room and it was perfect for us. I particularly liked the care and attention that had gone into the decor and the room facilities that made the stay so lovely. The breakfast is superb! do not miss it! The location of the hotel is perfect with plenty of on street parking and right next to a lovely beach and some nice cafes and restaurants. I cannot find any fault with this hotel and I hope to stay again in the future. Thank You :)

An absolute gem. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by Marco and Francisco. We proceeded to dinner at the Gatsby bar onsite which was incredible! Marco, the chef and owner, was so accommodating, especially with my young son. That meal was one of our favorites during our entire Portugal trip. We stayed in the presidential suite and my parents in the Agatha Christie room. The rooftop and common area of the suite made for an excellent space for our group to hang out and enjoy our wine with a view. My husband and son enjoyed the hot tub too. One thing to note is that it does take a while for the shower in the suite to warm up. The included breakfast was also delicious. The waterfront location was perfect too!

Parece que entrei noutro mundo; num mundo de fantasia, excelente gosto e requinte. De uma certa forma senti-me como imagino me sentiria em Downton Abbey. Sem dúvida, o local mais impactante onde estive hospedada. A decoração e as refeições absolutamente sublimes; o ambiente, o Senhor que nos acolhe (não fixei o nome) que mais parece um verdadeiro gentleman e mordomo à antida é uma "masterpiece" deste local mágico. Viveria neste local por muito tempo! Parabéns ao empreendedor e dono do espaço, Marco - Homem que domina tantos interesses tão diversos; extremamente culto e visionário. O que fizeram foi algo realmente raro de tão especial!

Experiência fantástica!!! Fomos tratados com atenção e carinho que poucas vezes vimos em nossas viagens. Os colaboradores abraçam o hotel como se todos fossem donos e isso resulta em um atendimento impecável. Destaque para a Ana na recepção, atenciosa e solítica!!! Também amamos o pequeno almoço e o Gatsby, restaurante/pub que lembra um speakeasy mas com uma culinária impecável! Retornaremos com certeza!!!

Local agradável e excelente acomodação. O restaurante é ótimo pela comida e pela vista sobre a baía. Ideal para uma pausa nas rotinas. O staff é extremamente prestavel e o quarto muito confortável, não deixar de visitar o bar no piso inferior que é um local agradável para um momento de conversa após o jantar.

Es en uno de los hoteles más acogedores donde me he alojado. Hotel pequeñito, un palacio reconvertido a hotel, a pie de playa y en el centro del pueblo….. Precioso, con una habitación bastante grande y muy bien decorada. Un servicio que no le faltaba de nada. Casi perfecto…. No utilice el restaurante, que tenía muy buena pinta. El bar, Gastby, precioso, coqueto, con buena música…. Me encantó. Y como siempre digo, estos lugares serían mucho menos si el personal no estuviera a la altura…. Aquí el personal, recepción, camareros, …. Todos…. Hacer que el hotel sea aún mejor . Chapeau. Volveré seguro, pero con mi Mujer.
