Aethos Saragano

Wir haben vom 9. bis 14. Juni 2025 im Aethos Saragano übernachtet – mit hohen Erwartungen, da unser Aufenthalt im Aethos Milan zuvor aussergewöhnlich war. Leider konnte Saragano dieses Niveau nicht halten. Positiv hervorzuheben: • Die Lage ist traumhaft – absolut ruhig, mitten in der Natur, mit herrlicher Aussicht. • Das Personal war durchgehend freundlich und zuvorkommend. • Die Küche im Restaurant war hervorragend – geschmacklich wie atmosphärisch. Allerdings gab es viele Schwächen, die nicht dem Premium-Anspruch der Marke Aethos entsprechen: 1. Falsche Zimmerzuteilung: Gebucht war ein Apartment mit Waschmaschine – erhalten haben wir zunächst ein anderes Zimmer. Erst am Folgetag wurde gewechselt. 2. Zimmerzustand: Beide Unterkünfte wirkten in die Jahre gekommen und nicht ihrem Preisniveau entsprechend. 3. Küchenausstattung: Die Küchenzeile war veraltet, mit schiefen Schranktüren (Foto vorhanden). Wartung scheint hier zu fehlen. 4. Minibar: Es befanden sich abgelaufene Getränke in der Minibar. 5. Poolbereich: Schön gelegen, aber ohne Personal oder Service – lediglich ein kleiner Kühlschrank mit sehr eingeschränkter Auswahl. 6. Gastronomie: Kein durchgehendes Restaurantangebot, keine Snacks oder kleine Speisen tagsüber – ungewöhnlich für ein Resort dieser Kategorie. 7. Dusche: Lediglich ein einfacher Schlauch – nicht dem Aethos-Standard entsprechend. 8. Gemeinschaftsbereiche: Die wunderschöne Terrasse mit Aussicht blieb ungenutzt – kein Service, keine Bar, lediglich durch die Rezeption verwaltet. 9. Stromausfall: Bei gleichzeitiger Nutzung von Wasserkocher und Geschirrspüler fiel der Strom aus. 10. Klimaanlage: In einem Zimmer war sie nur durch Ein- und Ausstecken bedienbar, im anderen war sie laut und störte den Schlaf erheblich. Fazit: Das Anwesen ist visuell beeindruckend und hätte viel Potenzial – aber der Betrieb wirkte insgesamt unbetreut. Weder Service noch Ausstattung waren stimmig. Es fehlte das Gefühl von Leichtigkeit und Sorgfalt, das wir aus Mailand kannten. Vergleichbare Unterkünfte in der Region (z. B. ein Airbnb für 134 CHF/Nacht) boten in der Praxis ähnliche Standards – jedoch zu deutlich geringeren Preisen. Rückblickend haben wir vor allem für das Setting bezahlt – nicht für einen stimmigen Gesamtaufenthalt. Wir haben unser Feedback direkt per E-Mail an Aethos übermittelt – leider ohne jegliche Reaktion. 2 von 5 Punkten

Saragano e' un piccolo paese in provincia di Perugia a quasi 500 mt di altitudine. Questa sua posizione permette alla vista di spaziare a 360 gradi ed il panorama intorno e' impareggiabile. Nelle giornate limpide si possono scorgere i Monti Sibillini ricoperti di neve e le vicine Assisi, Trevi, Todi. Queste premesse, insieme alla bellezza della struttura e gentilezza del personale, hanno fatto si' che il nostro soggiorno sia stato indimenticabile. La stanza era spaziosa e molto pulita, con zanzariere alla finestra, ma in realta' di zanzare non ne abbiamo mai viste. Siamo stati accolti con un calice di prosecco seduti alla loro terrazza panoramica che toglie il fiato. Il silenzio e' quasi irreale e il tempo sembra quasi fermarsi. La piscina e' grande e molto pulita, con verde attorno per una privacy totale e vicino c'e' una sala dove la struttura offre anche lezioni di yoga gratuite 2 volte alla settimana, inoltre tiro con l'arco e lezioni di painting. Il ristorante offre menu' alla carta sia a pranzo che a cena e la qualita' del loro cibo e' eccellente, anche perche' i loro prodotti sono a km 0 e hanno un piccolo orto per le verdure fresche. Colazione abbondante che si prenota il giorno prima per evitare inutili sprechi. Trovo questa cosa molto intelligente e rispettosa dell'ambiente. Il personale e' sempre molto attento e gentile, disponibile ad ogni richiesta di variazione. Pulizia impeccabile. Mangiare la sera alla loro terrazza e' stata un'esperienza impagabile, con le rondini che volavano sotto di noi! Il personale alla reception ci ha consigliato con le attivita' da fare nella zona e con le citta' da vedere. Organizzano anche giri a cavallo. Non posso che consigliare di passare da questo Albergo unico nel suo genere, anche solo per pranzare o cenare. Grazie a tutto lo staff per la meravigliosa accoglienza!

I hope my feedback helps not only travellers but above all the Aethos team for everything in the future. I may be very critical, but I work in the luxury industry myself, travel a lot and attach great importance to perfect service, especially on holiday. The property is fantastic. It has a wonderful location with absolute tranquillity. It is important to know that locals also live in the village. On the Aethos site, it appears that the entire complex concerns the hotel. This is not the case. Only a small part belongs to Aethos. The reception didn't seem very professional. There was no one there to take our suitcases, the briefing was rather casual and had no professional touch. A word from the hotel management would have been nice - if they even exist? We were given room number 9. The furnishings at Aethos are very tasteful. Big praise to the interior designers. It would have been great to see more of it in room 9. We didn’t feel the Aethos vibe in this room. To everyone - I can't really recommend this room. The layout in the room is a bit difficult as there is no space for clothes and suitcases. There is no balcony or terrace and it has no view. So avoid no. 9! It is the less attractive one comparing what you see on the website. Aethos in Seragano basically only lives from its restaurant. Everything else is rather neglected. The complex is getting on in years. You can see this especially when you look at the details. The reception looks unkempt, not tidy and the items for sale there are also carelessly curated. The outdoor area next to the restaurant is very carelessly designed. Tables are placed randomly on the terrace, no flowers on the tables, no bar, no drinks service and above all no staff to make your stay pleasant. You have to look for someone for every drink. If you are lucky the restaurant is open. Maybe we were unlucky and most of the staff was in sick leave? The restaurant is very good. The staff are more than friendly, even if they seem overwhelmed by the small number of tables and make this clear. (Should be avoided) The food is of course excellent, but the portions are unfortunately too small for the price, so you have to order more bread (extra cost) to fill up. Would be nice if there were normal portions. It is interesting that the staff in the restaurant wear a very tasteful uniform. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff do not. Again, please don't misunderstand, but the promise that Aethos makes on its website is a different one. A certain luxury requires a certain elitism, unfortunately there is no other way nowadays. The path to the pool is unkempt. The pool house is dirty, the furniture in it is broken, the gym equipment is dirty and pushed into the corner. More like a storeroom. The toilet facilities are extremely unkempt. The showers in particular are not in good condition. You would like the same standard here as in your room with the same products and above all fresh towels. The same applies to the outside s

Our experience at Aethos Saragano exceeded expectations and became the highlight of our trip to Italy. The personal service from all the staff was amazing. We participated in the cooking class with Delphina. She taught us homemade pasta and ragu the Umbrian way. The food was impeccable from breakfast to the wild boar stew and truffle pasta. But the best... nothing can beat the beautiful view.

Tranquil, beautiful, and high-end. We enjoyed our weekend at Aethos Saragano so much. The rooms were gorgeous, the restaurant was incredible, and the staff were kind and helpful. All around an amazing experience.

I went with a group of friends and what a magical and amazing place! They have a wide choice of activities that we were all able to do together , like cooking classes, foraging, arching, and wine tasting. A super friendly staff that makes you feel like home. The rooms have beautiful views 💛🧡. A truly tranquil peaceful place that I will definitely visit again.
