#負評#對性價比，防治蚊蟲措施，走廊隔音，鄰近活動，鄰近餐廳，房間大小失望；总结：如果你不想被坑押金还要被恐吓，然后受一肚子气的话，绝对不要住。 首先从收押金开始就很不对劲，明明美国的酒店绝大多数都是只用信用卡收押金的，这家酒店却极力推荐我们用现金付押金(其实是为后面不退押金做准备，)，当时我们就付了现金。 然后第二天退房的时候，酒店的人过来检查房间之后，就开始敲诈我们说因为浴室门外面有水，然后他们浴室门外的墙是沾水会坏掉的，所以要我们赔偿。 我们为什么觉得是敲诈呢? 第一个，我们住了那么多的酒店，从来没见过因为浴室地上或者门外有水要求赔偿的，而且这家酒店的是淋浴间而不是浴缸，淋浴间的地板隔水砖还铺得特别矮(大概只有一个拖鞋高)，浴室花洒水量又很大，怎么样洗都会有水撒出来的，浴室门又离淋浴间很近，漫出去一点很正常。 第二个，作为一个酒店，你怎么会把沾水会坏掉的墙装在浴室门口呢，不说水漫出来的情况，难道客人洗完澡出来水蒸气不会弄坏这个墙吗。 更让我觉得酒店是惯犯的原因，是他们说完渗水这个问题之后，马上就说这个墙的损失肯定超过500刀，但是呢因为他觉得发生这种情况他们也有责任，所以他只扣掉我们押金一百刀就算了，说完我们正跟他理论，他就叫清洁来把地全拖干了，我们拍照留证据都来不及。 之后我们跟酒店经理讨论这个事情的过程也很不愉快，首先是我们说浴室会漏水到门外，你们的淋浴间设计也有问题，他则是说我们应该在入住时候就告诉他这个问题然后申请换房。然后就是反复强调这是佛罗里达州的法律，还说要报警来抓我们，我非常怀疑这个套路就是欺负过来海滩的新游客，甚至是黄种人，先是收取现金押金让你没办法让银行介入冻结，然后是欺负你需要赶路赶时间，怕麻烦，不想叫警察的心理，最后遇到难缠的就进行恐吓，我们也不知道有多少人最后一样自认了倒霉，放弃了押金。 对了，最后我们还想向他要求一张扣除押金缘由的说明书和证明，但他最后也只给了押金收取的证明，还拒绝在上面签字和盖章，事后想再维权也没有办法了。

DO NOT STAY HERE! I checked in only to find a room full of MOLD - the front desk would not do anything because it was booked with Agoda. I had to find another hotel and now fighting to get my money returned! DO NOT book here thru any 3rd party or they will leave you stranded and give you the run down rooms. attached is only 1 of the many I took of this room - there are other reviews saying the same thing the runs smell bad and if your ok with MOLD then stay here.

Im originally from Sarasota, and back in the day this was a by the hour motel, and the bar - bahi hut - was smokey, dim, and had a customer base of degenerates and working girls. No more. Its still dim, but the drinks are now actually good, and the customers are normal people. The room itself was very decent. Th bed was actually incredibly comfortable. There was some paint missing from the wall, as well as the bathroom door having a rotted bottom that made this a 4 star rather than a 5 start review. I would like to add however that the front desk service was EXCELLENT!

Staff: half friendly and accommodating, half doesn’t care and will stare at you like a cat. room: super comfortable bed but didn’t have bedding for sofa bed, only three pillows for a king which seemed a bit odd, see below re sofa bed debacle. fridge made annoying noise. didn’t use air so can’t comment. shower: hardly any water pressure, but did the job. no bath mat supplied. floor was absolutely FILTHY. our feet turned black. after we washed our feet, we used flip flops the rest of the time inside the room to keep our feet clean. tiki bar: cool, uneven service but it was someone’s first day. free drink per adult was nice touch. didn’t mind waiting for service. FYI food menu only applies if food truck is actually there that day, so don’t be fooled by the menu listings. reminder for families with kids, you will need to leave before evening entertainment starts at 7 or so. pool area: big pool, well heated, avoid any days when they might have a pool party. extremely loud EDM blasting from 12-6 to the point where it was not even comfortable to be in our room with the porch door closed. we made the most of it and adopted a let’s pretend we’re twenty years younger if you can’t beat em join em attitude but would not want to repeat the experience. we did accidentally put two people in the booking window instead of three, so that may have resulted in the sofa bed not being made, but it seems strange that they don’t have enough blankets for all their beds. we were told when we asked about bedding that they would bring some sheets but that we should check back at 7 about a blanket. when we did, he said there were not blankets available but gave us extra sheets to use as blankets. this worked fine with some clothes flung on the bed for warmth, and the heat turned on for half an hour to take the chill out of the air, but would not be a solution for actual winter. like, go out and buy enough blankets for your hotel, guys. it does not seem like they have it very together and I'm not sure I would stay again, but we managed to enjoy ourselves hence the 4/5

THIS IS AN UNSAFE, UNRESPONSIVE, LOUD & DIRTY MOTEL. The two most basic things to look for in a hotel are whether it’s clean & safe. The Golden Host in Sarasota Florida failed borth. I stayed overnight on 4/25/25. I first waited 20 minutes in an abandoned lobby before finally getting checked in. I honestly should have just left then as everything else was downhill from there. His excuse was that he was alone for the entire property and had other responsibilities and was working on laundry. I was next given a key to a room that actually HAD ANOTHER GUEST ALREADY INSIDE. I got into a brief altercation with the other guest after having walked into his room. Thank god I didn’t get shot. Certainly Florida’s castle doctrine would have justified it. Back at the front desk I was told that the property was sold out. I was then offered another room, somehow, to which I exclaimed that "I didn't feel safe" at the property anymore and would rather just find another hotel or sleep in my car. The associate refused to cancel my reservation and insisted that I accept another room. He wasn't apologetic in the least and didn't seem to grasp the seriousness of the situation he had just placed me in. I did ultimately accept the alternate room and requested that a manager contact me the next day. After literally retreating to my room to shelter in place it became immediately obvious to me that the hotel wasn’t as advertised. The pool and adjacent tiki hut looked awesome, but I was in town so briefly that using it was impossible. The historic Bahi Hut was merely an open air bar situated in their parking lot. The room smelled of mold and had visible mold on the floor and walls of the shower. The laminate flooring was buckling and there was missing molding along the wall. Trash was already in my trash can. The mattress was poor quality and enveloped my body in an undesirable way. The air conditioner sounded like jet planes were flying overhead. The noise was so loud, sleeping was next to impossible. At one point I was convinced that actual airplanes were flying overhead and googled the airport to see how far away we were. The seals around my door had failed and I could see daylight the next morning. I could also smell the noxious odor of another guest smoking outside her room a few doors down. The smoke was actually coming into my room somehow. Not that any of this would have been acceptable, but the hotel was advertised as “completely restored and renovated in 2022” which I would absolutely dispute. There was no overnight security and the property seemed otherwise abandoned except for a few guests. I got a call from the management at 7:30 am the next day. If I wasn't an already pissed off guest I'm sure that getting a call at 7:30 am would do it. I hung up and followed up with ******* later in the day. ******* tried to contact the hotel on my behalf in order to seek a resolution. I was requesting a full refund but would have be
