Hôtel offrant des prestations de qualité. Accueil et écoute du personnel. Chambre Joséphine (40m2 de mémoire) décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Literie très confortable. Salle d’eau moderne et spacieuse. Petit déjeuné servi en chambre, varié et très copieux (possibilité de sélectionner autant d’éléments que désiré dans la liste proposée). Sans oublier la piscine et l’emplacement de l’hôtel au cœur de la cité médiévale, n’ayant pour autant pas d’incidence sur le calme qui règne dans l’hôtel et au bord de la piscine … Que du plus. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Merci à toute l’équipe.

Sarlat de la Canède is a jewel preserved through the centuries, and within its streets lies this delightful, human-sized hotel. It’s important to keep in mind that you are in a medieval site, and this hotel is set inside a beautiful historic building, masterfully transformed into an accommodation. The four stars are well deserved, even though reaching it by car with luggage can be a little tricky: you’ll need to take a few steps through the bustling streets to get there. Once past the entrance door, you’ll find a small but lovely pool and a spiral wooden staircase leading up to your room. The rooms, each dedicated to a historical figure and furnished accordingly, are well appointed, quiet, functional, and feature large windows with pleasant views. Breakfast is simple but good, and the value for money—especially considering the hotel’s wonderful location—is fair and satisfying. A very pleasant place with a kind, welcoming, and passionate staff.

Je wordt hier met veel zorg en aandacht voor details ontvangen! Fijne badproducten aanwezig en een heerlijk bed. Mooie locatie in het centrum van Sarlat-la-Canéda maar toch een rustige plek waar je met open raam kan slapen. Een aanrader dus!

Le Petit Manoir is a boutique hotel in the middle of Sarlat-la-Caneda. I stayed for 4 wonderful nights. The hotel has an enclosed parking lot a few blocks away which is very convenient. I, like others, had a problem finding it, but I parked in a lot, called the front desk and Gail kindly came to get me and show me the parking garage! She then carried my luggage up the stairs for me. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast room is small but good to start the day. When you walk out of the enclosure for the hotel, you are right in the midst of town which is a lovely town. Make sure you are there for market day - such a big market for the size of the town! My room was spacious and I had a balcony and a walk in shower which for me was perfect. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I was very happy being in the town. I took a small group tour each day to see the other towns. Such a beautiful area.

This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! She even helped me with a laundry issue :) Natalie who checked us out was so helpful. She told us about a Chateau only 20 minutes away that we had almost missed! We were so grateful for her guidance. She even brought our bags down to the car! A couple of clarifications: there is no elevator so pack wisely! We brought a small bag so that we wouldn’t have too much trouble up the stairs. Also, the parking garage is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel but you need to call and ask where’s the best place to drop your bags before parking. The hotel is in the middle of the pedestrian street so no cars are allowed but it’s only a 5 minute walk to the enclosed and very safe parking garage. This was not a big issue for us. The hotel has such comfortable rooms and linens! We had a very comfortable stay and lots of options for restaurants, coffee and dessert very near by. Can’t wait to go back!
