I have stayed here a number of times, solo and also with my son. On this visit it was good to see that the rooms have been redecorated and upgraded with a new bathroom, decent shower, new window and a comfortable bed. The heating appeared to be on 24 hours a day and it was very warm. Each day a fresh bottle of Evian was left in the room. Breakfast was good quality, with fresh fruit, cereal, orange juice nice yoghurt, fresh croissants and more . Dinner really excellent, I had the demi pension which makes it much easier to choose because not only could I have eaten everything on the menu but what I did have was some of the best food I have had anywhere. Unlike other comments I had no problem regarding the attitude of the staff, perhaps it's their reaction to arrogant English visitors! Lovely surroundings, totally peaceful and a genuine quality experience!

I didn't stay here, but I had a long lunch here. Surroundings are lovely and the staff was attentive enough, but the food was entirely uninspired and totally without imagination. Pretty plates and very ordinary taste--nothing at all memorable: lunch for a single person for over $90 should be memorable. Foie gras was served dead cold with maybe a tablespoon of apple accompanying. Duck breast was somewhat overcooked and the sauce was so unremarkable that it might not have been there. Pear dessert was OK, but if you're going to poach a pear, add a little wine or calvados or even vanilla. Champagne flutes at 15 euros each are also not a deal. This was a birthday treat for myself, and it was a serious disappointment. Ordinary at best.

The hotel has an interesting history and we were received in a very friendly way. The rooms were good and had all what is needed. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was good too. There are stairs to get to the rooms and no elevator. Hotel is not luxurious but very pleasant.

We didn’t stay and thank goodness for small mercies is all we can say. The place looked very tired and need a good revamp. We booked for dinner which was a disaster from the start. We ordered our aperitifs and perused the menu. One of our party is allergic to duck and another cannot eat fish. We asked if the kitchen could cook done chicken or possibly beef which we are told was not possible. We paid for our drinks and left in disgust, we traveled to Fécamp and had a lovely meal in a bistro.

The welcome at reception was perfunctory with no assistance offered with baggage. The room was small and no account had been taken of the well forecast exceptional weather conditions which meant we had to remove the huge thick duvet from the cover and sleep under the empty duvet cover. The shower head in the bathroom was too heavy for the flimsy fitting which my husband had to reassemble. The weight of the water made it fall forward , shooting water everywhere . It was reported but doubt it was fixed. Very thin towels. The only information in the room required using a QR code - with no overnight reception contact would have been tricky in an emergency. Everything seemed rather tired and formulaic, including the staff. A shame as it is a lovely venue and could be fantastic. The food is OK but the occasion somewhat marred by difficulties about where one was allowed to sit for a pre dinner drink. Really silly small niggles that need sorting out.

We had a pleasant time thank you to the whole team who are up to the task the service is impeccable thank you to the butler Magali and his team the breakfast is pleasant the rooms are very well maintained as is the park Thank you all for your availability we will come back

We came as a couple to this place. Friendly setting. Welcome by the very very pleasant receptionist and we see his involvement because we spoke with him. We had dinner. We enjoyed our meal in a restaurant with Sissi's painting hanging. An atmosphere reigns. Elise served us and we were very happy and we also chatted with her. Magali butler very cold. She brought us appetizers and served them as soon as she left. Not a word from him. We wonder if she enjoys her work. A change of attitude would be welcome to be smiling. A very cold face, very blue dark circles under the eyes..... We left very happy with our stay and we will come back hoping that Mickael will be there.

The welcome was excellent, the service very professional and the castle was perfectly renovated. A beautiful wooded park. Very enjoyable dinner by the fire in March. Plantar reflexology with Arnaud. Breakfast favoring local products.

We spent 2 nights at the castle. Beautiful room with spacious spa shower. Super comfortable bedding. Excellent restaurant meals. The setting is magnificent, you feel out of time. Thank you to my husband for this very nice gift.

Nous avons séjourné pour la deuxième fois au Château de Sissi et une fois de plus, tout était parfait. Le charme de ce lieu chargé d'histoire opère dès l'arrivée : la décoration du château et des chambres est raffinée mêlant élégance et authenticité. Le parc est superbement entretenu, un véritable havre de paix vous invite à la détente.La restauration est de grande qualité et surtout nous tenons à souligner l'accueil professionnel et attentionnée de toute l'équipe. Un grand merci pour ce merveilleux séjour, nous reviendrons une troisième fois !

Un bel endroit avec beaucoup d’authenticité et de calme. La région est à découvrir et l’étape au Château à ne pas louper a bien des égards. Profitez du restaurant qui contribue à l’évasion pour une parenthèse enchantée. J’y retournerai au plus vite.

Nous avons passé un superbe moment au château de Sissi merci beaucoup en particulier au maître d’hôtel pour sa disponibilité et son professionnalisme avec ses petits jeunes qui démarre dans le métier il faut de la patience. Merci au chef de cuisine et à sa brigade il nous a régalé. Le parc est agréable très beau lieu à visiter

Accueil très agréable. La salle à manger est magnifique,c'est chaleureux, on a passé un excellent moment. Le dîner à été parfait, la cuisine est savoureuse. Le service s'est très bien déroulé, le personnel est discrèt et très professionnel. Merci beaucoup

A l occasion de mes 30 ans mon mari m a offert deux nuits dans ce château étant une fan depuis mon enfance de l impératrice et de la région, le cadeau ete bien trouve . Nous avons sejourne dans la suite sisi . Tres belle suite avec une baignoire double jacuzzi, une petite salle de bain avec cabine douche un peu petite je trouve ,deux wc , une chambre grand lit, un dressing ainsi qu un grand salon. Je trouve qu il manquai un frigo, un plateau de courtoisie avec the et cafe . Je pense que le tarif eleve de cette suite mériterai d avoir le minimum ! Un peu decu egalement de la part de l hotel car aucun petit geste alors qu il ete au courant de la surprise et de mon anniversaire le samedi ! Le petit déjeuner est correct avec des produits de région. Personnel agréable. J ai eu un massage offert par mon mari. Le masseur vient de l extérieur , il est très pro et efficace ! Détente absolue!!!
